I edited my post to respond to your post about Francois and 3 losses

Bad? It isn't a 'bad' thing it just isn't a good win.

Tell us why? We dropped two TD passes and settled for a FG after their DB held our TE and kept him from scoring another.

You still insist on labeling teams based upon their past. 3 years ago Clemson had done nothing for a long, long time. last year they beat Alabama for the NC. In your world that was impossible.

And what happened in that Game? It was literally over in the 1st Q. I would argue they didn't even deserve to be there.

They were 12-0 against a good schedule.

Do I think they were one of the two best teams? No, but they did what they needed to do to get to that point. No one else deserved it over them. They were undoubtedly relevant.

It still doesn't matter in 2017. None of their prior years' teams are playing their games this year.

Why does that matter? Why wouldn't you evaluate that win based on the body of evidence in this season?

Because any sane non delusional college football fan doesn't rate wins over Temple, Boston College, and Mich State? That is why. Lets not pretend that any of those wins mean anything.

Any other questions?

And Francois was a true freshman last year. Those 3 losses were Louisville (Heisman winner), Clemson (eventual champs) and NC (pretty decent team).

Louisville was not very good, though. Look what LSU did to them. And we dominated NC last year with one of our worst teams in a long, long time.

You could be right, but we are still speculating about what FSU would be doing this year if they had Francois.

Why wouldn't a sane college football fan look at all available information when judging a team?

I'm not arguing to put them in the top five, but they've done everything you would reasonably expect from a top 20-25ish team, which is how they're rated currently.

Your point? The beat them all. Badly. You, nor I, for that matter, no exactly how good ND is this year.

yes we are having to speculate because Bama knocked the guy out for the season and took FSU's soul. It happens.

And yet here you are saying they are no good based on nothing. They have looked good. They have beaten the teams they should have beaten and they have beaten them badly. That is what good teams do. maybe we should wait and see before labeling other teams.

I don't think Louisville was bad. Loss to Clemson, UK (bad loss) and Houston (Herman).

They weren't great but they weren't bad.

Bad was probably too strong a word. they were not very good, though. When they lost they were dominated, though.

Hope to see more of you on here!

Probably the same reason Ole Miss beat Alabama two years in a row and Arkansas came within a point of beating them one of those years. Sometimes stuff happens?

And OU has only played an overrated Ohio State team. The fighting Urban Meyers are averaging 11 pts/game against their last 3 ranked teams they've played

What a lie. There is nobody else at that table. Bama done cheated their way to nuking the conference. Nice job, Kim Jong Saban. Thanks for destroying football. ALL the other fans should boycott until Bama is on a long term bowl ban.

Keep winning and you might jump us. Your team and mine both have tough games on the horizon.
