Sims has played 6 more quarters than Marshall this season...

Are you retarded?

Let's revisit this thread after sims makes a start or two on the road...

Go back about two pages. I already said Marshall is the more proven QB.

I really don't care if Sims ends up the superior QB. Marshall is not an NFL, make all the throws QB, and we don't argue he is.

But downplaying Marshall having mastery of the offense he was put in charge of, which is pretty damn effective, is dumb.

Not really seeing where the disconnect is.

This thread is Alabama and Auburn fans. It seems pretty obvious why we can't agree on things.

Worthy. Those are good looks.

Still think Marshall is faster.

Trade a little leg speed for a little passing ability. Not a bad tradeoff. How about we just say they're both looking to be pretty good QBs and forgo the standard pissing contest?

Everyone runs it. High school kids run it. It's a simplistic concept that isn't hard to execute satisfactorily, but the fact is that NM executes it at an elite level that allowed Auburn to get to the title game by doing something else everyone else can do.

But I'm guessing analysis of this stuff is lost on you.

oh yeah, big time analysis you've done there. SEC Network should be giving you a call real soon.

Sims is a more complete QB. It's not really debatable at this point.

Marshall is a more successful and accomplished QB, not really debatable at this point.

NM has a whole season starting over Sims. This would be a good February thread if retitled "Who was a better QB this year?"

Marshall's played in 2-1/2 games this year... with only one of those vs a cupcake... nicks also played a true road game vs a pretty salty defense (where he played well)... sims has face a couple cupcakes and a pillow soft WVU defense.

Again, let's revisit in a few weeks after sims actually throws a pass in an opponents stadium .
