Marshall is 16-2 as a starter. Kenny Trill and Sims can STFU til they put a few more on the W side.

Blake would be starting at QB at Auburn.
If by 'starting' you mean 'behind Jeremy Johnson on the two deep' then you are correct.
The Sims I see still throws a lot of high passes, etc. You guys act like he's infallible. You shouldn't believe everything Verne tells you.

I think Sims could run it, I don't think Sims could run the zone read like Marshall was in the latter half of last season, when it was pretty devastating.
I do if that was the offense he was in. Marshall is good at it, but as Auburn fans will see Malzahn is going to make a lot of QBs look better than they are. Much like A&M. The system just works for QBs. Cam is the exception as he is a 250 pound freak.

depends on the system. I don't NM would do well in Alabama's system.

Marshal is not a good QB. He is a tailback chuncking a few passes.
Marshall is a better IPhone receiver.

Lol no, just no. Sims had wide open Cooper to pad his stats. If Duke Williams catches his wide open drop Marshall's stays are elite last week as well.

If you're saying that Sims, given the time in the offense, could run the read like Marshall does, then I don't have an issue with it. I don't know enough about Sims to really know if that is truly accurate, as I think Marshall is probably the better athlete, but I assume Sims has the tools to do well under Gus.

The fact is, Blakesiah could do everything Nick does at Auburn. Nick could not do the same at Bama. We've seen Blake run zone read. He does it well. Now he's mastering a pro style WCO. It's fun to watch.

The funniest part is that I bet you actually believe that. Gold, Jerry.

As of right now I'll say Marshall but it is hard to compare guys from such different systems.

Sims.
Jeremy Johnson may be better than Marshall.

what do you think is so hard about AU's system? In one summer Gus taught it to a converted DB with a room temperature IQ. Do you think Blake doesnt have the physical ability to run the plays or he doesnt have the mental ability to learn the system?

The one thing Nick isn't really getting credit for is being clutch as hell. Even as an Auburn fan, it always amazes me that he is so collected, when he really doesn't give off the team leader vibe at all (not that he's a bad leader).
Sims hasn't shown anything like that yet, nor has Jeremy Johnson. So while I have no issue in admitting that Nick Marshall is limited in his ceiling most likely, and that JJ and/or Sims may pass him, I think he deserves a lot of credit for it at the moment.

When I see Blake do this, maybe I'll believe you:
But he can't, and won't.
Nick is a homerun threat on his feet. Blake can scramble. Simple as that.

Well, when Sims runs a textbook zone read like Marshall can, you'll have your answer. It's effective, and lots of QBs do it, but Marshall has been the standard for 18 months in CFB. I think Sims can probably do it well, but I don't know that we'll be able to get an answer on whether he could do it as well as NM or not.

Nice gifs and emoticons. In other words, you have no rebuttal.
