That's just flat out incorrect.

Not really. Tennessee can't sell their stadium out last year because they weren't winning.

USCe's fans ALWAYS show up, regardless of record.

Check out the mileage. USC is closer to NC, VA, and FL talent than UT's campus is. UT's fanbase is good, but it is not on the level of USCe.

Brother, you do understand the great state of Tennessee borders VA and NC, right? Florida is a moot point with the plethora of talent there.

I disagree with the fan base thing, but there is no way to prove that. And I fully concede that USC is the better program right now.

. Yeah Hampton roads area is closer to usc than tenn.

Where does the majority of VA talent come from? It aint coming from fricking Blacksburg or DC. DC puts out a few good players, but nowhere near the amount that Hampton roads puts out.

Charlotte and eastern carolina is where the majority of NC talent comes from. That's closer to USC.

sounds like you need a lesson in recruiting talent more than I need a map brah.

Of course I do. BUT, USC is closer mileage-wise to the talent hotbeds in those states. Who gives a shite if you're close to Asheville and blacksburg? Talent doesn't come from there.

Fair enough. Only reason I say that is taht USC's fans show up to games even when their team sucks donkey balls. UT totally has bailed on their team since 08.

You guys are a little weird in that Memphis considered in-state, although it really isn't. UT gets skullfricked in Memphis almost every year.

Swing and a miss again - the best part of the state for recruiting recently is the Nashville area.

You guys have to worry about Vandy building up like Stanford did.

Vandy puts in some better facilities and is able to beat you guys like they did last year, suddenly you guys are the 2nd best in the state. (10 years)

If butch Jones doesn't work out, UT football is done. Especially since you guys are broke and won't be able to afford good assistants.

This isn't true - our stadium holds more - so even during this shite fest we still bring more people than most SEC stadiums can even hold.

Something tells me USCe would struggle selling out a 100,000+ seat stadium on a regular basis too. Even with the recent success, but maybe I'm wrong. No way to tell.

Memphis is quickly becoming a basketball only city. Very little elite football talent in Memphis these days.

Terrible high school football coaches compared to middle and east TN.

Why is the in state talent so bad in a state with 2 large metro areas (Memphis and Nashville)?

Nashville certainly is getting much better, but that is a THIS year thing.

Last year, there were 9 4 star and better players in TN. 5 were from Memphis. 2 were from Nashville area. Tennessee only got 3 of the 9 4 and 5 star players per Rivals.

Middle Tennessee talent is blowing up, Vandy will always pull a few kids from the area but it wall always be Big Orange country and we'll get the majority of kids that we want from the area.
