Which job is better?

*Just because UT is a mess right now, think long term. Which job will get you better recruits and give you the funds to accomplish what you want to accomplish?

Pros for Tenn:

Tradition
Better Facilities
Bigger national presence
Bigger stadium

Cons for Tenn:
They broke as frick
Lack of in-state talent

Pros for USC:
Better in-state talent
Closer to NC, VA, and FL talent
Passionate fanbase

Cons for USC:
Lack of facilities
In-state rival to split talent with
Smaller stadium
Lack of history/tradition

For me, I guess it's still Tennessee, but it's closer than anyone would've ever guessed it could be back in the 90s and even the early 2000s.

Tennessee. USCe is clearly better right now in terms of team, but it's taken a sure fire hall of fame coach to even get them close to an SEC title. Wouldn't take someone half as talented to be able to bring Tennessee back up to par with the resources available.

Carolina if you like to play golf.

Tennessee if you like to paint rocks.

Check out the mileage. USC is closer to NC, VA, and FL talent than UT's campus is.

UT's fanbase is good, but it is not on the level of USCe.

the instate talent argument isn't really applicable. they're about the same in terms of talent. at least according to the last few recruiting cycles.

South Carolina talent is slightly better than Tennessee talent the past few season and will be equal in about 10 years or less.

You sir, need a map. Yeah Hampton roads area is closer to usc than tenn. But not by much. Western va and dc are closer to tenn. Same with western n. Carolina area.

You guys are a little weird in that Memphis considered in-state, although it really isn't. UT gets skullfricked in Memphis almost every year.
