Your RB crawled on His hands and knees 3 yards for the winning "TD" , when you should have 12 straight losses to LSU. That team nearly lossed to a piss poor LSU team.

That team also went 10-2 with a 3 point loss in Little Rock in the sleet and a phantom penalty against us on a punt return inside Bama's 10 that would have changed that game completely.

2001 Florida easily. Had an average point differential of 30 PPG against a pretty strong schedule. Rex Grossman played out of his mind that year except for the Auburn game when he threw four interceptions. Also, they would have beaten Tennessee if the game hadn't been rescheduled due to 9/11. Instead, they had to play Tennessee a week after an emotional game against Florida State with the Darnell Dockett incident and the Earnest Graham injury. It threw everything out of whack and their focus wasn't completely there against Tennessee. I honestly believe UF would have been competitive against that great Miami team at least for three quarters or so before Miami pulls away at the end.

I was there. One of my favorite games. I'm pretty sure that's the last time we tore down the goal posts.

I wouldn't go that far. Miami killed them at the end of 2000 and the beginning of 2002. How could things have been that different? I have little doubt Miami's secondary could handle the passing attack.

at saying this like it's fact. They lost to a much worse AU team in the first half of the season.

Miami definitely did not kill them in 2000. Florida actually had the lead in the second half and Miami only started to pull away in the fourth quarter. This was with Rex Grossman who was a true freshman at the time as their starting QB. As for 2002, all I can say is Steve Spurrier >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Ron Zook.

Still, it was a 3 score win.

I'm not sure Florida was better on either side of the ball in 2001.

The difference between Zook and Urban was that Zook could beat Auburn.

Fine, I'll speak for the UGA contingent with 2007 UGA

2007 UGA was the best team in the nation by year's end, imo. I don't think LSU would have wanted any of them in the SECCG, had UGA been there.

UGA didn't lose any more conference games than LSU, but lost to the wrong team (UT).

Georgia was definitely not the best team.

2007 UGA's performance in Neyland Stadium was one of the most pathetic I've ever seen from a "good team".

Agree, since a mediocre Alabama team put a 41-17 arse raping on that same UT team that year. But UGA would've beaten LSU in the SECCG. No doubt in my mind.

Why? Which part of the season were they super impressive? Because it wasn't the beginning, middle, or end.

This has nothing to do with anything and that was not even close to our worst loss in SEC play. That Tennessee team was really just not very good at all and UGA losing to them means they didn't deserve a shot at a national title imo.

By year's end, yeah we were. Honestly, the pounding we took from UT doesn't bother me nearly as much as the very thin margin by which we lost to USCe in Sanford. If our offense doesn't sputter there, we're likely playing for and probably winning the national title

How? What was your impressive win? A 12 point win over a 4 loss Florida team? The win against Auburn? The fact that Georgia was lucky enough to draw that Rainbow Trash in their bowl game?
