VH3 may actually be overhyped, simply because he is the only DB other teams seem to consistently know by name, but UF has some damn fine corners in Jalen Tabor, Quincy Wilson, and Brian Poole that really fly under the radar. Tabor and Wilson were both freshmen and had good seasons last year and are going to just blow up this year.

The only reason UF isn't #1 for sure is because of the early issues with their Safety play last year during the first 3 games. Neal, Maye and Dawson though are set up to have huge seasons this year after learning on the job last year.

If you take out the first three games, where they had a bunch of blown coverages against Alabama and Kentucky, here are the stats for the year:

171-328, 52.1%, 7 TD, 11 INT, 96.01 QB Rating - which would have been the best PE defense in the country.

So yeah, UF's last 9 games they were the best, or one of the best, passing defenses in the whole country.

I expect them to be about that good this year.

The correct answer to this question is LSU. Kevin Tolliver is as good as advertised and will stand out opposite an established ALL-SEC player in Tre' White. At safety it doesn't get any better than Mills and Adams. All four guys will be 1st-2nd round draft picks. Not to mention the depth of former five star talent like Ed Paris and Donte Jackson. Ricky Jefferson has played great snaps for LSU and it took me this long to mention him.

This is really what it is. It happens in other sports, but I think it's the worst in CFB simply because people don't really know players on other teams. Fans learn a players name from another team and elevate that guy to another level and act like he's gonna shut down Jerry Rice and then when he can't call him overrated.

UF is absolutely stacked with guys that just needed a little coaching at the beginning of last year. I fully expect Jalen Tabor to come out and wreck shite this year and become a well known name in the SEC. And the safeties absolutely made progress towards the end of the year. I'm expecting Brian Poole to be a ball hawk back there and really anchor the passing defense like he showed he could at the end of last year against crablegs.

and you left out Thomas....who was really good before his injury and will be back full speed this year. LSU actually does have probably 8-10 db's that will eventually be drafted in the NFL.

Jalen Tabor as a freshman:

31 tackles, 8 PBU, 1 INT, 4 TFL, 2 sacks, 1 FF

He is going to destroy people this year with a full year of experience.

Brian Poole:

45 tackles, 10 PBU, 4 INT, 3 TFL, 2 FF, 2 QBH - maybe the best or 2nd best nickel in the entire conference.

Both are going to be very good this year.

Solid play in the Scrimmage, made a nice high point interception.

A lot of good secondaries in the SEC but if I had to choose one. The best secondary the last few years belongs to LSU so I would choose them
