It's LSU.

We are nationally known as DBU. All the best recruits belong to us.

Tennessee and Georgia are solid.

I was educated today on the talent of the UGA secondary.

How is Georgia's overall defense looking this fall?

Should be improved over last year, which was top 20 in the nation.

LSU has more star power by far and they have always been pretty good so I guess I would go with LSU.

Statistically they were the best last season and it would be shocking if they're not just as good or better this season.

Florida
LSU
Ole Miss

In that order. No other teams are in the discussion, not even Bama.

Donte Jackson to become freshmen all Americans. Good luck go Florida though

I don't see jackson playing much corner this year honestly. His role this year will be on returns and a few offensive plays

interesting. We were 5th nationally against the pass last year in pruitt's first year. Not sure why we can't even be in the discussion this year.

Your ranking was bolstered by several anomalous games in the month of November. But Florida had gone full-retard by that point. And Georgia Tech has always been run heavy. And nobody respects any result posted against the likes of Charleston Southern.

Then there is also the fact that only two East teams had passing offenses ranked in the top half of the country. One of those teams was Kentucky. The other put up 270 yards against Georgia.

Idk man. I think Georgia had a soft schedule, especially down the stretch.

LSU fans putting way too much into VH3 vs. Cooper. VH3 limited Cooper to 5 catches, for 80 some yards with a TD when covering 1 on 1.

VH3 didn't give up all 10 for 201 and 3 TDs...

Ill give the slight edge to LSU because of better safeties but don't even try to say White > VH3 just because of how he playeD Cooper.

VH3 tops pretty much every grade from PFF. And that's not name recognition. That's fact.

Dont sleep on Auburn

CB Jonathan Jones-SR 3 star
TJ Davis-SR 4 star
Carlton Davis-FR 4 star
FS Tray Matthews-SO 5 star
Nick Ruffin-SO 4 star
Tim Irvin-FR 4 star
SS Rudy Ford-JR 4 star
Stephen Roberts-SO 4 star
Jordan Colbert-FR 4 star
CB Blake Countess-SR 4 star
Josh Holsey-SR 4 star
Javaris Davis-FR 4 star

teams stopped throwing on Jones,Reed Whitehead last year they had 15 ints combined. The other side was weak. How did they solve it...two transfers that started at Georgia and Michigan. This how dumb d coaches were last year corners and safties had different meeting rooms. Whitehead got suspended six games and several dbs in doghouse after in fighting with db coaches. The db coaches got fired before Ellis Johnson. Everyone saw the mass transfers by Auburn secondary players.Players say the attack instead of lay back and arent getting blocked out of plays.Coaches high on Irvin and Javaris Davis, who is a track guy.

LOL

I like to do the ole' draft pick prospect thing to determine this:

White Late first round
Mills Late first round
Adams Middle to early first next LSU DB superstar

these three are locked in stone barring injury.

ED Paris, Sophomore, highest rated DB out of Texas....fighting for starting spot this year, potential 1st to 3rd round pick.

Tolliver- TF, highest ranked DB in the country out of high school....likely future first round draft choice.

Thomas- been very good DB for LSU in the past before injury, appears to be leader for CB position opposite White at the moment....probably not as good as Tolliver or Paris, and is more a Safety...but likely will be a 2nd to 4th round draft pick.

Jefferson...Safety...will be drafted, anywhere from 2 to 5.

There are more if you would like me to keep going. To say that no one is even close to Florida is comical. your top corner might be better than white...but LSU has future 1st round picks 4 deep in their secondary......but Florida is better...k

not arguing that...but LSU still has a late first rounder in White at Corner.....and you mentioned the safeties....4-5 deep there with future top draft status.....

Ed Paris and Tolliver are both wild cards...both very highly rated out of HS....with Tolliver as high as you can get.....both could very well be future first round draft picks as well, and either could be the next superstar after Adams.

VH3 got abused by Amari Cooper. Cooper didn't catch a single ball against Tre White. Vernon only gets more recognition because he was a higher level recruit and gets picks. White locks down the wideouts to the point where QBS don't throw to him at all.

To be fair, Cooper did seem to catch a case of the dropsies against us. Didn't he have like 3 or 4 pretty blatant drops? Reminded me of 2012 LSU.
