Laugh all you want dude...but if LSU had held West Virginia's passing yards to zero that year (they had 463) and Oregon's to zero as well (they had 240), Bama's pass defense ypg would have still been less...

I only mention the passing numbers in those games as LSU actually held both schools to under 100 yards rushing so that wouldn't have made much of a dent in the numbers...

Debating in a thread in which the OP is boasting about his/her favorite team is a waste of time.

And once again you are the only whackjob that took this as the point of the thread.

Shockingly the point of the thread was to debate and review the stats. And that is just what happened. Amazing!

Against common opponents Bama was better. Bama held the SEC champ to 0 pts and only 92 total yds

LSU beat the BCS National Champions, Big East and Orange bowl Champions, and Pac 12 and Rose bowl champions.

2011 LSU resume is unparalleled.

That resume would not even make it on the desk because of the embarrassing 21-0 loss where only 92 yds were gained. The 50 yard line was crossed 1 time and that was well after the game had been decided.

That's one game. My comment was about the 2011 LSU resume.

Our 2011 resume is unparalleled.

And getting embarrassed in the title game is part of that resume.

Doesn't mean shite when you lose the biggest game of the year. Not just lose the game, but get your asses beat in a 21-0 fashion

We can all agree that 2011 Bama/LSU defenses were better than 08 USC, 08 Florida, 04 USC, and 01 Miami right? I think they certainly were

The 2004 & 2008 USC defenses and the 2001 Miami defense were nasty.

fricking right it means shite.

Are you kidding yourself?

We beat the BCS National Champions, Pac 12 Champions(won Rose Bowl), and the Big East Champions(won Orange Bowl).

GOAT resume.

Anything else said is denying facts which I just stated.

Best resume ever belongs to 95 Nebraska.

Edit: Beat 4 top 10 teams by an average of 31.

I don't know about that, LSU beat more ranked teams overall if I'm not mistaken and beat better teams. 2011 Bama, Oregon, and maybe Arkansas and Oregon are better than anyone 95 Nebraska faced all year.

100% disagree. That Nebraska team faced a white hot Florida Gators team in the national championship and destroyed them by a score of 62-24. Florida was even favored by a few points going into the game that night. The Gators, like Nebraska, had an insane average margin of victory. Most people believed that the Florida defense was too fast for Nebraska's option game to be effective. The Cornhusker offense recorded well over 600 yards in the game.

1995 Nebraska beat four teams that finished ranked in the AP Top 10. It doesn't get any better than that.

When did the state of Louisiana become the cultural mecca of western civilization?
