Best play in your teams history .... That was negated by a penalty?

A good one for Georgia is Todd Gurleys kick return vs Auburn in 2014. He just returned from suspension and it was the first time he touched the ball, I think.

George Teague running down and taking the ball away from Lamar Thomas in the 1992 National Championship game.

There was one against South Carolina I believe gurley ran it all the way and they called it back on some phantom holding or something. I remember rewinding it and watching every player and couldn't find anyone close to holding.

For Arkansas it's basically the entire fourth quarter of the 2009 Florida game.

That one id say is more important than the auburn one because it would have meant we beat Carolina. The auburn one though was a lot fricking cooler

Possibly the most famous negated play ever.

This year against Syracuse. LF broke like an 80 yard run that was negated. Would've put him over 2000.

Guess it depends on your definition of best. "Most on the line" does seem like a better measurement

That one chainlink against USCe was also a good example, wasn't necessarily a penalty, but I bet that ref hated his job in that moment.

Might have been negated, but it prevented a TD and brought the ball back 75 yards. Yes Bama didn't get the ball but it was a huge play. If he doesn't strip it and take it they have the ball inside the 20 and have momentum.

One of my brothers went to high school with Lamar Thomas. That boy could talk some trash. So glad he was the strippee on that play.
