It pains you, I know. By the way, thank you for letting us steal the best coach from your baseball team. You know damn well we took the best.

Haha I can tell it chaps your arse. Once upon a time Lsu had a great baseball program. Now you are behind Vandy , South Carolina etc. Say hello to Msu Sec champs baby!

Once upon a time you had a kick arse womens hoops program. Now you suck and Miss State has made you our bitch.

Once upon a time you were good in football with Saban. But now he is with Bama and you are a 8-4 type team lol.

Once upon a time you were rarely good at basketball and are still rarely good. In fact, not good at all. End of story.

The first NCAA win they get he will bolt that shite hole.

He has brought some ballers in there but was always his stepping stone back into coaching. Big reason we didn't consider him.

Elaborate.

You were afraid that he would make your team good again and then bolt? Are you afraid that an Arkansas program in really good shape wouldn't be very attractive to another A-list coach?

I'd worry he'd leave the program in questionable shape like he did UCLA. They had success under Alford but now that program is kind of blown up.

I just said he's bringing in some ballers but you can't sit here and be honest and say he doesn't have some "risk" associated with his hire in Starkville. Dude is a California native. I've lived there and those people don't ever leave for good.

He played ball at Santa Barbara dude. You ever been there? Yea, not a place you leave for very long when you're as rich as he is.

Something isn't right with Ben Howland

With that type of resume, you don't end up at Mississippi State.

Hes past it

He and his wife are building a house on the golf course in Starkville. He has no plans to go anywhere else. Think we were just fortunate enough to catch him at the end of his career, he really doesn't have time to start another rebuild, this is his last stop.

What? UCLA is #3 right now at 18-1. Is that the kind of blown up program you were worried about having post-Howland?
