Sell.

ESPN had a graph showing that only 3 SEC teams have been ranked in the top 5 since 2009. I believe that extends to top 15 as well.

Kentucky and Florida held all of those weeks except 1, which A&M had for a total of one week last year.

Uh Lsu dude, he took Ucla to 4 final fours and put a ton in the Nba. Admit it, you are scared of the domination over Lsu.

Lagged behind a little when the 1 and done rule change occured. Still took them to 3 consecutive final 4's and had them ranked every year though, a lot of UCLA fans are still upset they parted ways.

He's won ~30 games in year 3 at every school he's been. Certainly on track to win at least that many next year. This team loses nothing, adds much needed depth at the post and one of the best PG's in the country. Not to mention they are all Freshmen, going to keep getting better.

Let them take their shots at MSU while they can. We will laugh very soon.

Why are you getting defensive? It's a question. I realize Howland had a great stretch at UCLA which is why I asked what led to him getting fired there.

And no, I'm not scared of a college basketball team. Grow up.

Thank you for giving an actual answer. I only follow college basketball slightly so I knew Howland had done well but wasn't sure why he got fired.

Not everything is a shot or a troll.

I think in order for State to be successful Howland will need to keep players at least three years. Stans was great at recruiting good players but a lot of them had major flaws and never panned out

Hopefully we will see an improvement in the quality of the non-conference schedule next year. If we do, I think you may be right. If not, then it will be hard for a team that isn't Kentucky or Florida break the top 10 playing in the SEC. If we have a good showing in the NCAA tournament next year, maybe the season after next we will get there.

Solid X/O coach, if he recruits the #2 spot is up for grabs outside of UK as long as Calipari reels in all that talent.

Howland is a better x/o coach than Calipari.

I haven't watched MSU play yet. What do you think is the difference in their play the last 4 games?

He changed the line up to go bigger. He also inserted Lamar Peters into the starting line up.

Sherard at center allowed other players to go to their more natural positions. We were playing a 4 at the 5, a 3 at the 4, and a 2 at the 3 before the change.

Players growing into their roles, the emergence of the Haitian Herard to allow Holman to play the 4 position, the play of Lamar Peters and his starting over IJ Ready. Howland is a teacher and the young players are listening to him and adjusting/improving their games.

Howland and Pearl are both turning their programs around. I think both can turn their programs into a consistent NCAA Tournament team. I also like what Avery Johnson has been doing at Alabama. I think the SEC can be better than ever in a few years.

Next year "should" be a turning point year. State, Alabama and Auburn should all have relatively deep and talented rosters with legitimate NBA type talented players. Tennessee should be much better as they will return almost their entire roster. Kentucky is Kentucky. South Carolina is now established as a legitimate Top 30-40 team. Florida will be good again. Georgia will probably take a step back but should still be competitive, and Arkansas, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt should still be solid and competitive. The only teams that just appear to be in disarray are Missouri and LSU.

Next year should be the year the SEC pushes back into the national discussion as a deeper league with 6-7 serious NCAA bid potential. SHOULD.
