So what if we do? We haven't had a QB in a LOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGG time that is as hyped as Coker. And I don't mean coming out of High School. I'm talking a legit gun slinger from a #1 team in the country type player. Alabama has been operating off of shite QBs ever since the late 60s and it had worked somewhat well.

Alabama has never had one of those Matt Leinarts or Vince Youngs or Sam Bradfords etc. Alabama is at the pinnacle of their talent threshold. Like....of ALL time. I'm damn sure gonna buy into the hype and I'm not afraid to be disappointed. Cause you know what? Alabama is still Alabama. And I've learned that just the name Alabama in CFB over the past 7 years = at least 10 wins. This Alabama team has 100000000x the motivation that 2009 team had with 10000000x the talent. So I'm gonna buy the hype and you tree worshipping arse wipes can deal with it

Idk what I just said

It's not hard to be better than McCarron.

Based on what exactly?

Based on watching him move and throw a football

Talent and success don't always go hand in hand, but if you're going to tell me that he doesn't have better physical tools than Mccarron and McElroy then there is no sense in even debating Memphis.

The quotes do not match your OP. Haney's is not even close to what you state in OP

It's a sliding scale. Good accuracy and good arm strength beats bad accuracy and great arm strength.

Great arm strength and good accuracy beats great accuracy and bad arm strength.

I know what you're trying to do, trust me. Even you know that Coker has more tools to work with physically than Mccarron or McElroy.

Best throwers of the ball I've ever seen were Chris Simms and Jacory Harris...prettiest passes ever.

But neither won shite because They couldn't read a defense if it was a Dr. Seuss book...

You are fishing for something that is not there. Bama fans are not counting on or expecting Coker to be any kind of savior because we don't need one. We don't need a Cam Newton to win a national title.

All these threads from AU fans about Coker come from their own insecurities about Nick Marshall. You guys can't stand the fact that he is preseason 1st team All SEC and yet he is not receiving the respect one would normally get by the media.

That's a cool story and all, but I was responding to a question of why I thought he had more physical talent

Sounds like Harris and Simms had a lot of physical talent as quarterbacks, but were just stupid in your opinion. Would you agree with that?

Oh look, another Coker hype thread not started by a Bama fan.

These are certainly a rarity.

I really hope Coker gets caught doing blow.

Coker-head has a hilarious ring to it.

The only thing I know is that he is faster and has a bigger arm, yet lacks accuracy. Other than that, we know pretty much nothing about his attributes that are needed to be a successful quarterback.

Doesn't matter. No one is insecure. We know what we have, we know what you don't have. You're turning this into a bitch fit instead of a conversation. I guess this should have been expected tho...
