Because Moo State's offensive line is garbage after all the guys they lost from last year. Maybe the weakest offensive line in the SEC. There is a reason Moo State was picked last in the west by most people

I don't think JJ is nearly as bad as what he has shown and would be just LSU's luck he flips the switch.
If LSU's secondary wasn't loaded I would say yes.

That's a tall task in Tiger stadium but this will be a slugfest.
If JJ makes mistakes early and LSU establishes and run game and pound the ball. They can get ahead early, big.

Mississippi State didn't really test our edge and Auburn will. It will be interesting to see how the yound DE's for LSU and Debo responds to all the eye candy Auburn will throw at them. It'll be a fun close game.
MSU couldn't afford to bring the safeties up, but LSU can. Tolliver is an island. Call him Mr. Lonely because he needs nobody.

I figured it out by watching the game. The only way LSU got pressure on Dak even earlier in the game was by confusing their line and getting them to block the wrong person. It wasn't any amazing talent by LSU's defensive line. This is why Moo State started moving the ball up and down the field once they figured out what LSU was doing

That's not really true. They beat guys 1 on 1 just as often in the first half as they did with misconception.

They definitely wore down some in the second half, there is no doubt about that.

Oh ok. How many running plays did they call after halftime? We made them one dimensional.

You need better troll bait, troll.

Lots of stunts and twists, but there were some blow-ups by the DL. I'm not going to argue this because I plan on charting the plays later for some data a group of folks I know puts together.

Again, I'll repeat-LSU won one-on-one matchups to create DL pressure. They did so often. They also used some basic DL strategy as well. Arguing this is only revealing bias on your end.

LSU can definitely do the same thing against Auburn.

They should be able to confuse JJ alot easier than they did Dak.

It wasn't about confusing the QB, it was confusing the o line. On paper, AUS o line it light years ahead of MSUs.

This has got to be a tough statement to make after you discounted Carl Lawson without even knowing the games he played in.

JJ had Gus and everyone else scared to death to even want to attempt to throw the ball at the end of a game against Jax State. Obviously, Auburn will come into a hostile environment trying to run. If they can't, JJ will have to pass. Getting a QB from Carver is a mistake for athlete on-field education in the first place, let alone one prone to throwing interceptions and who doesn't read defenses and react well. Again, part of that is because of the coaching staff he came from at Carver. Although, a lot of that is almost God-given. Maybe not all of it, but a lot of it. Either you have it, or you don't. You either can see the field as a QB or not.

On the other side of the ball, LSU's quick slant pass is twice the speed of Jax State's. And Jax State murdered Auburn with that play. Plus, nearly every player on LSU's team, including running back, is better than Jax State's. The Gamecocks' QB was very good, though. He should have kept it on the read each play on their last drive and also in OT until Auburn stopped it. On the last drive, I believe if he carried it 3x, he would have gotten a first down.

I would say look for a big day for LSU passing but I honestly don't think Auburn will give LSU any reason to quit running right at them.

I would run the zone read. Auburn had problems defending Saturday, but Lawson didn't play so its hard to tell.

Why I am troll? I still think LSU will win mainly because the game is played in Baton Rouge. I also think LSU needs to win this game more if you look at future schedules.

Both teams schedules are similar to 2013 once you get past this game. Auburn will only have 3 road games left and two of those are at Kentucky and Arkansas. Meanwhile LSU still has to play at bama and ole miss
