I know.

3-3-5 defenses will usually have more speed than 4-3 defenses..

More Dbs on the field.

We have Lockdown corners.... and a fantastic Nickle back.

We depend on the pass rush forcing QB's to make mistakes, and then our ball hawk DB's do what they are out there to do..... worked very well the past two games.

Go fetch me the numbers before they played Auburn, please. Compare them. And yes, I know the sample size is small, which is why I'm laughing at your "point" in your post.

Kill yourself.

I agree its faster, but i remember playing against in high school 3 or 4 times a year and i tore them up every time i faced a team who did used it. ULM runs a 3-3-5 also... If you don't have good safeties you are screwed in a 3-3-5

I'm not saying that with Trotter the offense would be better because it wont. I'm saying that it's not the collapse you're alluding it to be.

I know. I may have exaggerated a bit to get under some people's skin

BTW, your personality is needed in the IM thread. It started early tonight. Same to Memphis.

I'm saying it's not... I promise you it's not.

Maybe in most cases, but we have elite speed all around

I'll believe that when i see them play Auburn.. Remember, you also said JJ was much improved before the season started. I'll form an opinion after we play LSU and see their team speed on defense against ours on offense.

Speed doesn't change unless you gain 10 lbs or something

I didn't know this was Auburn's first year fielding a football team.

Not when your scheme calls for a converted Safety at the SAM LB position. Since Chavis has been here a Safety has been moved down to play SAM.

Also, we run a lot of Mustang package when teams are in passing situations. That is a 3-2-6 with players walked up all over the place. You never know where the pressure is coming from in that package. It has produced lots of sacks, QB fumbles and interceptions. Also, the good thing about the pressure we bring is it seems to come from the middle as well as the outside. QB's have not been able to step up to avoid the rush because of the penetration the interior DL is getting.

No, the reality is you are jumping up and down saying how great you guys are, yet against the only defense you have faced ranked in the top 1/2 nationally you were only able to score 17 pts., with your QB love crush only able to amass 70 net yds. rushing (no TD's) and complete 12-21 for a whopping 158 yds. Passing (1 INT, 2 TD). Hell, Jordan Jefferson (Who could be the worst QB in LSU History) completed 10 of 16 for 100 yds, and only played on 1/2 the field.

So, again, my little friend living in la la land, end your man crush and go F&%$*# yourself!!

Thanks. Turned it over just in time to see Cam's UNBELIEVABLE first TD run. Cam is the truth.

Forcing 4 turnovers is what won the game. USCe had turnovers on their last 4 drives. Auburn scored on two of them.

Auburn punted the ball twice the entire game. One of those was after their last series. If Auburn did not turn the ball over 2 times and miss two FG's, the game would not have been as close as it was. I take that offense the rest of the year and like our chances.
