The apartments aren't really seedy, they've just had the misfortune to be part of a couple tragedies in the last couple years.
I wouldn't be in support of coaches preventing players from being at locations where mainly other students live.
Hell for all we know Jakell Mitchell lived in the apartment complex.

I remember when they built these apartments. They were marketed to parents for being safe because they had a gate and alert buttons.

I looked at those apartments when I started at Auburn, and I had friends that lived there when I was in school. They're not bad apartments and I never felt unsafe there at all. Just two really, really bad incidents happening there. I'd bet this was another out-of-towner coming in and starting trouble, like the last time.
