Bama homer by any definition . Prior to the playoffs, Clemsons best win was FSU. Ole Miss was the worse team in the West this year, imagining having to play even 8 Ole Miss's in a row. I don't think FSU would have enjoyed it.

ole miss's defense was a special kind of bad but you think it is a tough team. lol i guess b/c that was Auburn's best win. ole miss won 3 games.

u are demonstrating the SEC bias perfectly. lol

elieve SEC fans don't think Clemson is on a 6 year 10 game win streak if they had an SEC schedule. I also believe with DW and MW 2016 and last years D the 2015 and 2016 Clemson teams were legit.

My guess is you believed Clemson was going to curb stomp Auburn this year and we were throwing into the end zone to win the game at the end. Football is like that sometimes.

i never believe CU is going to 'curb stomp' anybody and it was the first game of the season. typically teams aren't at peak form in the first game of season especially a passing team.

again your only basis for CU losing more in SEC is you are a SEc homer. i doubt you have any knowledge of rosters in the ACC on a year to year basis. probably the only time you see ACC teams play is when they go against a SEC team.

that last play into the endzone was never close to being caught. desparation play. moreover, u got held to 12 points at home, and CU lost a lot off their defense from last year.

FSU wasn't that good first half of season and obviously that QB was starting for first time. talking about first game of season is so silly. i don't think Ole miss is playing with FSU at the end of season. lol

u take 1 game and you extrapolate it out as a trend. ole miss had a bad defense this year. and they weren't great at running the ball.

A guy that went to prison, Mike McNeil.

FWIW, I didn't think the hit was all that dirty. Wrong place, wrong time kind of thing.

We do know that until this season Dabo led Clemson teams have never been better than .500 against the SEC in any given season. Using that math we can assume (like you have suggested with wins over Auburn, Bama and USCe this year) Clemson would have been 4-4 in SEC play those years. Normally that means 8-5 or 9-4. I agree with your assumption about 2016, I believe it is likely if Clemson had an SEC schedule they would have won the SEC this year.

that last play into the endzone

Thanks for proving my point. Auburn was throwing into the end zone.

so did NC State, does that mean NC State could win the SEC? Clemson beat your champ.

DId AUburn take Alabama to the limit, this year or last? nope.

you sure seem proud of your moral victory. i can' tthink of too many ACC teams that scored 12 or fewer points against Clemson in recent years though, even at Clemson. Pitt had 43 at Clemson. Auburn at 12 at home. lol

Auburn's offense looked pretty awesome against Ole Misa and Ark and other sec schools.

Clemson's offense played like crap and still won on Auburn's field.

looks like gallman beasting on Auburn though, 30 rushes and 123 yards lol. i though CU had struggled to run the ball in that game. the coaches weren't running Watson much at that point to keep him healthy.

CU had 3 turnovers in that one.

Mike Williams had 9 catches for 174 yards and if i recall correctly he dropped one or two other touchdown passes. it looks like clemson wasn't spreading the ball around well , WIlliams had 9 catches, the next two only had 3 each.

Don't really understand this debate. Clemson won a better conference than the SEC this year, making the playoff in the process. If they won a better conference than the SEC, it stands to reason they would win a worse conference than the ACC.

i don't think in terms of conferences. i think in terms of teams. a team's success is not the conference's success.

it seems a lot of SEC fans act like if a SEC teams wins the natty, that means the SEC was the best conference that year. i don't think that is a valid assumption.

Ok, I don't either but what would your ranking be if you were to rank each p5 conference from top to bottom as a whole?

no i'm not going to rank conferences. conferences don't take the field together as a team.

teams don't play enough games OOC against p5 teams to make assertions about best conferences.

if u go by head to head in games played, yes. that is still limited data. i think ACC had better QB play.
