There really isn't enough OCC games to make that assertion imo

It was, the entire country outside your southeast bubble agrees.

I agree

A good portion of the Southeast does as well so you probably shouldn't generalize it like that.

There is a reason I was asking him though.

All good, it happens on this site quite a bit.

Clemson's offense played like crap and still won on Auburn's field.

looks like gallman beasting on Auburn though, 30 rushes and 123 yards lol. i though CU had struggled to run the ball in that game. the coaches weren't running Watson much at that point to keep him healthy.

CU had 3 turnovers in that one.

You use circular logic. Auburn's offense also played like "crap". When Auburn settled on a QB and he was healthy our offense was significantly better than the O you faced.

You also have bad memory. Clemson had 2 turnovers. 1 fumble lost and 1 int. Neither on Auburn's side of the field.

Auburn had 3 all in the red zone. Plus a red zone turnover on downs. So actually 4.

In the end each game is about individual match ups. Comparing this conference to that conference can only be done to a certain extent. Generalizations can be drawn however based on other data. In this case the data suggests...Clemson is 8-9 win team or less playing an SEC schedule 2011-2015. Clemson 2016 would have likely won the conference.

ok, you are a SEC homer and you take one game, first game of season, and make all these assumptions about it. Auburn sure didn't play Alabama as good as Clemson did they? you also got spanked by an Okla team that Clemson made look bad two seasons in a row, one year with Cole Stoudt at Qb.

do you thnk AUburn in the verge of winning a natty in the next few years? i don't see it.

there seems to be an incredible amount of coach turnover at Auburn. the coaches there can't wait to get a job somewhere else

White had the majority of the pass attempts in the AUburn game. was less than 50 percent passing for 150 yards and a pick. don't see any reason to think AUburn wins the game if he played the entire game.

I would say the ACC was better than the SEC in 2016. But, like I've said since the beginning of the year, the SEC was really down. This showed in week 1.

Nobody ever sees it coming with Auburn.

See, 2010 and 2013.

2013 was a fluke though. that was a 4 loss team in the title game.

u won't be able to buy a player like Cam most of the time.

Yep, I would agree. It would be hypocritical to a certain extent to not say so with their bowl record. Just as it would be silly to say, the SEC wasn't the best conference from 2010-2015.

it is crazy how SEC fans seem to talk more about what the best conference is rather than the best teams.

conferences don't play in games, only teams do. it is a team sport, not a conference sport. the point isn't to be a member of the best conference.

conferences typically have 1 or 2 good teams, then a bunch of average teams, then several really bad teams.

u guys basically give yourselves the natty for playing in the SEC. that seems to be the accomplishment.

i think good thing about Clemson is it has its own brand, it is not tied to the ACC.

many SEC program's brand seems to be only that they are a member of the SEC.

i think SEC school teams should all wear a standard SEC team uniform, because you are playing for your conference not your program. lol Team SEC is taking on the world.

i'm talking about the lucky auburn team. it should have had 2 or 3 more losses but the football gods were kind.

Agreed, they kind of reminded me of Clemson at times this year.
