This just shows you don't know much about the teams. Arkansas' issues was never QB
he didn't look great in 2nd half against va tech.
there biggest issue is defense, something i've pointed out.

Great but that logic is flawed, I can find any QB who had a bad half this season.

ok but i've said i believe this thread that they were bad on defense so your point is not accurate.
u guys are always trashing ACC but you probabl cannot name the QB or top RB on acc teams like NC State, Pitt, UNC, even guys that will be drafted.

No, I never said you are wrong about the defense but your point about the QB play was wrong which is why I only pointed out that statement.

ok, i don't think that Ark QB is a big threat to beat Clemson defense. he's not tom brady.
i don't think he did anything against Auburn. some of it is due to the horrible no good rotten pass protection
my point is there on paper does not appear to be a team in SEC west that could have beaten Clemson other than ALabama.

Stop trying to group me in with anyone, I never said anything bad about the ACC

Ok, that is probably what you should have said then

You are right, his name is Austin Allen

that was my point, which teams can beat Clemson, given a SEC homer Alabama hack said Clemson would have more than 1 loss if played in SEC.
if alabama could go undefeated with a poor passer like Hurts at QB, i like Clemson's chances in that league to go undefeated. lol

They could have but I think they would have lost at least 1 and there is nothing wrong with that. Going 11-1 in the regular season SEC west is very impressive.

i don't think the SEC west is that impressive, that's just hype. some seasons it is, not the past two seasons.
i can't think of any SEC team that put up decent stats against Alabama's defense. maybe Ole Miss

You are right about this season but not last

they were better 3 years ago but the top teams in it got routed in their bowl games. G Tech destroyed Miss State's best team ever, for example.

That Bama lost....

Another example of the SEC being good last year would be just look at the bowl record.
Posted on 1/18/17 at 4:13 pm to rockiee
u have to look at the specific matchups though. most of the wins were over bad / mediocre teams.
Posted on 1/18/17 at 4:15 pm to Tillman
Not a Bama homer by any definition . Prior to the playoffs, Clemsons best win was FSU. Ole Miss was the worse team in the West this year, imagining having to play even 8 Ole Miss's in a row. I don't think FSU would have enjoyed it.

Yes by average/bad SEC teams. I'm not talking about the top half of the league but the league as a whole.

I think the two ACC NCs were to two weakest Champions over the last 10 years.

I would like to state that most SEC fans would concede that in 2016 the ACC had better teams at the top and potentially a deeper conference but that is more debatable.
I also believe SEC fans don't think Clemson is on a 6 year 10 game win streak if they had an SEC schedule. I also believe with DW and MW 2016 and last years D the 2015 and 2016 Clemson teams were legit.
My guess is you believed Clemson was going to curb stomp Auburn this year and we were throwing into the end zone to win the game at the end. Football is like that sometimes.
