no he sucks at preparing them for the nfl.
Damn, how many times do I have to agree with you? You know more about Petrino's ability to develop QBs than most if not all NFL teams. Mallett hasn't progressed one bit under Petrino and that's why he will drop to the 5th or 6th round of the NFL draft. Mallett will be drafted on talent alone if he is drafted at all. Really, you should be well paid for your keen insights and knowledge and not post it for free. You could make a lot of money doing so.

it's a pro style offense but you must admit their is some spread concepts in there.
You mean like, oh, say...the Colts?

He was with J. Campbell only a year.
And Campbell is damn lucky. Any more time with Petrino and he could have been ruined for good. Sometimes luck is everything.

The more I think about it, you're right. I mean...not a single one of Petrino's QBs has improved under his direction. They basically leave campus the same way they got there. No improvement whatsoever. Fortunately, Petrino is such a lovable guy that these multi-million dollar franchises keep drafting his QBs because he's such a nice guy that they love to keep happy.

Damn, here's another idiot that needs to be straighten out. Adamwilson, please put this guy in his place.
There aren’t too many coaches in the NCAA who have the ability to develop quarterbacks better than Arkansas head coach Bobby Petrino. I feel comfortable saying that we’re likely to see a much more polished Mallett in 2010.

Sometimes I agree with him sometimes I don't. This is one of the times I don't. He is good overall though.

I haven't said anything you guys are taking this and running with it.
I said this and only this:
Something is weird about Petrino's scheme and he masks how talented or not his qb's are. He is a fantastic coach/play caller, he has a great offense and is highly successful (save the nfl). Now, the thing is his QB's HAVE NOT had success in the NFL. That is what concerns me.

not what i'm saying. Im saying Petrino likely didn't have too big of an overall effect on him having only coached him for a year.
