Mncs are the goal but they largely circumstantial due to being dependent upon totally uncontrollable factors.

The basic point to football is to win the game. To win as many games as you can. This is totally controllable, and gives a general idea of how good a program is. Uga stacks up well with Lsu, AU, and uf in such a comparison.
