Ah, from the vaunted Buffalo Bills offensive line. Young Schott making the jump from the Rams to UGA seemed to work really well so I'm sure this will, too.

Yes, I love GA usually. Great fans, awesome program, much more class than others in the SEC... Until this.

Not me. Every UGA fan I've meet has been like this jackass. That goes all the way back to UGA first trip to Razorback stadium. Bunch of jackass UGA fans showed up that day, running their stupidity. Some of them we close to getting their asses beat by a bunch of pig fans before they figured out they had best shut the hell up. UGA can rot.

I've had the opposite experience with Tenner fans. Even too the point, of the whole contingent of Tenner fans sitting around me (was a UT section) getting on the arse of the yahoo that started running his mouth at me. That fan shut up, and all was well afterward. The one exception was one I meet in Tampa, but every fanbase has a few of those tards. It just seems UGA is composed of them.

factors present themself: division and location. You can't compare the type of talent that has come out of Georgia to that of Arkansas. The West has also been a tougher division. Georgia has still been the better football program since 92 but it has been closer then you appear to

The main factor is simply wins and losses. It proves what is says.

The east used to be the best sec division, while the west stunk, so this isn't a good point. Competiton has been fairly similar.

Location may have an effect on why we have been much better, but that doesn't prove that ark was close to Uga during this time period.

Sure does. There is not a huge gap between the programs of Arkansas and Georgia. 1/2 game a season to be exact.

The only East teams to win a National Championship are Florida and Tennessee since the 1992 expansion. Not Georgia. Georgia is not Florida. Georgia is not Tennessee.

Its pretty damn simple

Over 100 years of football is a pretty damn good measuring stick. Over 100 years of both programs, Georgia averages just about a half win more per season than Arkansas.

That is not a big gap. Matter of fact, that is a very, very small gap in program difference.

I would imagine after the Kirby Smart hire, Arkansas will close that gap even more. Though, given how weak the Eastern Division is, it is pretty easy to get to 7-9 wins at Georgia right now.

Look at the head to head since 92 or just go off your opinion. Please enlighten yourself

All-time, I already pointed out:

- Uga is 13th in winning % to arks 28th. That means Uga is closer to the #1 program in spots than ark is to Uga.

Our programs used to be closer in quality through 1991:

- We were 17th, yall 25th, but This was with far different schedules due to totally different conferences.

Uga has been far far better since 1992. The gap between 10th and 45th is very large. This is a significant portion of time and all within the sec.

Head to head, sec titles won by each division is similar. Is that what you were trying to say?

Since 1992, uf is 4th in winning %, Uga 10th, and ut 19th. All 3 are well above ark at 45th.

Plenty of bump material for when the hire implodes.

What's the most bump worthy post so far?

Not really. If you knew any history of the SEC, full SEC schedules were never played. At some points in history, some SEC teams only played 4-5 conference games. Meanwhile, Arkansas always played a full slate of conference games in its league.

UGA has been a bit better, but still no national titles, which is what the end game is. Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, LSU, and Auburn have all won national titles in that time frame. All programs are superior to UGA. Which is why UGA is closer to Arkansas than they are to the power 5 teams in the SEC.

So our new OL coach is young and perhaps unproven.

Big deal.

But if us hiring a a young unproven assistant is such a bad thing for us, Georgia fans must be terrified about their new HC.

And the straw-man tangent about Georgia and Arkansas' all-time records doesn't really matter, does it?

Personally, I think that Georgia is taken the Phil Fulmer curse off of Tennessee and brought it on themselves.

Maybe you should read my post again. Our schedules were in fact very different back then, but I imagine we played a similar amount of d-1 programs.
