Longest win streak in NCAA post season history.

Longest win streak in Omaha CWS history.

Won the last one at The Blatt and the first one at TD Ameritrade.

Second winningest program this millennium.

Averages almost three wins per trip to Omaha.

Win a ship and then and then talk shite flagshipper.

Y'all jinx yourselves with all the pre-week shite talk.

Just stfu and go-in with PMA.

I mean at least he's not your current coach that is going to drive your program in to the ground.

Seriously? That's your retort?

lulz

Just win Monday Hawgs. You're breaking Clemson's and FSU's record for utility.

It's pathetic.

Just Fricking win.

BTW ... I thought the game turned in the first inning. Remember when your pitcher K'd the first two batters and then was about to K #3 but the VA coach sent signals in to force a Time and immediately got your starter out of his rythm?

That was the point where I knew y'all were about to be out-coached.

Did you?

Not sure this is an appropriate discussion, considering how Arkansas vastly exceeded expectations this year. I mean, seriously? I didn't expect us to do much in Omaha and was just glad to be there, because this wasn't a great team, but how that makes DVH overrated is beyond comprehension.

Okay, let's say you're correct for a minute. Would that be such a bad thing? DVH likely isn't going anywhere soon, but how many other SEC schools would love to have him? Georgia or Arkansas could fire Richt or DVH and instantly become mediocre teams (yes, it can happen to Georgia also), and incredibly, some people thing that would be the smart thing to do.

And that's why it sucks. Kind of a purgatory. Just good enough to not get fired. Not good enough to transcend to that next level.

I'll admit it sucks. So close, but yet so far.

DVH is a good coach. He has yet to make the big step. I wouldn't give up on the guy though.

He just has to find the right (recruiting) class. So far it's been one or the other. Not both. (Pitching/Hitting)

But his track record of players in the MLB is impressive. He should sell the shite out of that alone.

We go to Omaha every 3 years. What sucks about that? If it were basketball, I'm sure you'd be very happy with a coach who went to the elite 8 every 3 years.

DVH will always do just enough for Arky, yet never win anything. Not even an SEC championship

False. Richt gets much better talent than DVH. Richt could write a book on the art of bed shitting. DVH gets his teams to play better than what they truly are, IMO.

I didn't think so, but I could be wrong. I don't keep up with baseball recruiting as closely as football.

I fricking hate dumb mother frickers that compare baseball and basketball. Basketball literally has 300+ schools that give a frick and try to make the NCAA tourney. Baseball has like 40 schools.

Yep, we were not picked to do anything this year. DVH kept this team from quiting, and we are in Omaha with one third of our pitching staff.

He wins with talent? Doesn't every Coach? We only had 4 mlb drafted players on this roster, that's the least of all CWS teams! This is an over achieving team! Great job by DVH.

Arkansas has had more players drafted the last 2 years than any program in college. We continually have top 5 classes including last years #1 class, yes you are wrong. Very.

Still pisses me off we didn't win it all in 09, most talented team doesn't always win in baseball unfortunately. Hell there might not be another college team that has a rotation like that for a long long time.

Van Horn has already won the league before.
