It took Corbin years to win anything. First he had to lead the charge to change the bats so that his kind of baseball could prevail. Then, Omaha had to build a ball park that was friendly to his kind of baseball. For years he'd have the number one class because Vandy has a huge recruiting advantage, but he still couldn't win anything. Not saying he isn't a very good coach and a very good man because he absolutely is, but it had to set up for him, it really did.

DVH is a very good coach.

Arky had the easiest path to Omaha and also played the easiest opponent in Omaha and got out coached badly. Not jelly at all, I have seen the cocks win 2 nattys the past couple years. Something DVH will never come close to seeing. He had a shot a few years ago against us, but got out coached 2 straight games kek.

Arky's had a good season; no shame in bowing out at Omaha. Too bad about the pitching injuries.

That is true. Now, as a MSU fan I can't really say anything about this year, but that had to be one of the easiest roads to the CWS ever. The 1 seed in the regional,OSU, goes down before they even get a chance to meet. Had to beat a 4 seed out of the Big East to advance. Then they get SMS which was probably one of the biggest overrated National Seeds ever, and they get them at home. All that said, Arky did do what they had to do, but it wasn't that much.

Well this post is chock full of dumbassery.

The Stillwater Regional was thought to be one of the most competitive out of the 16.

MOST was a buzzsaw that had won nearly 20 straight games and completely punked their regional. Had 2 legit ace starters, w/ one that led the NCAA in strikeouts this season. He had nasty stuff, he'll be a MLB player for a long time.

It was a stroke of luck that they couldn't host the Super Regional, the crowd did make a difference and we turned that good luck into a payoff.

We've not had a healthy complete pitching staff all season long, we won something like 7 or 8 straight SEC series after losing the LSU series.

I know you're butthurt, however that Hog team deserves to be in Omaha. They've overachieved big time.

Yes, yes we did. We did exactly what we needed to do to get there. Saying we don't deserve it is ignorant.

Considering where we were the beginning of the year, he did a remarkable coaching job to get us in the post season, not to mention Omaha.

Thought. That's the problem, someone thought. That regional was crap, and playing SMS in the Supers at home was the best draw any team could want. I'm sure as hell not jealous of anything in or pertaining to Arkansas athletics or anything else in that state. I said your team did what it had to do, and I sure as hell don't have room to talk, but don't go making shite up. That road to Omaha was one of the easiest ever. Period.

First of all, you said athletics.

Secondly, seems you should have kicked arse in the postseason then if your coaching is so superior.

Our coaching sucks. You'll be hard pressed to find a State fan defending baseball coaching.

This years Arkansas run is similar to State in 2007. It is fun as hell when you don't expect to get there. We went out quick too but I wasn't that disppointed because we overachieved to get there. Just like your Boys

No excuse for not winning a title in 2009 with that roster

Sorry, but LSU was significantly better in every phase of the game than Arkansas in 2009. LSU is why Arkansas could not win the title that year.

So, yes, there was a very valid reason why Arkansas did not win a title in 2009.

I'm not jealous of Arkansas athletics. I didn't say our coach was better. I'd take DVH over Cohen in a heartbeat. I was saying Arkansas caught an easy draw to get to Omaha. Sometimes, that's what it takes. Your team did what it had to do. Enjoy the CWS whether it's 2 and que or not and quit being so defensive.

Missouri State's Friday and Saturday pitchers were both top 6 round picks, with one going in the first round.

But I guess MLB teams thought they weren't any good either.
