thats f'cking classless, i dont give a damn sober or not, fans shouldnt be afraid to come to tiger stadium and sit where they want and cheer for there team....

im embarassed for tiger fans... i hate when people are rubbing it in when its a blowout or something but what the hell, maybe thats why tiger stadium is the most feared place in the nation cause or drunk idiot fans will try and whip your a$$ if you cheer for your team

every fanbase has their bad apples, but i keep hearing the same thing over and over about LSU...everyone says their student section is one of the most obnoxious in the SEC...o well i guess ill take my chances

Several years back I sat in the student section for the ARK/LSU game and openly cheered for Arky. My cousin (LSU student) was with me but it was brutal. I got shite talked for about the first half. Prob could have been worse but LSU kicked the shite out of Ark that day so everyone eased up. If that game was close or Ark won It would have been real bad

From my experience, LSU fans while sober are not too bad and really only tiger bait people. When they are drunk, its completely different. Now go sit in the student section with your cousin in some gator gear and cheer loud and proud. You'll get verbally abused maybe even physically, but who cares? If you dont want those tickets, Ill buy them and take the abuse for you no problem.
And UF students can get pretty bad. In 2007, the entire section I was in pretty much caused two opposing fans in our student section to leave because they couldnt take the abuse... and the girl was crying.

ETA - I don't think you'll get in with a student ticket to sit in the student section because you don't have a student ID...

AFAIK student tickets for the FL game can't be upgraded. So I am not sure how you are going to get in, in the first place. You need to have a student ticket and a valid LSU student ID to get in. The name printed on the ticket and the name on the ID does not need to match, however, you still do need a valid LSU student id.

You know how when you're watching a horror movie and the girl runs back in the house when she could have ran away to save a cat or something, and the whole theater is screaming "you stupid bitch"? I'm not calling you a stupid bitch, but take this for what it's worth. What you think the ideal for being a hospitable and classy fan is or not is not the issue. I wouldn't do it, and I'm saying that as a friendly gesture. You're going to be sitting in the middle of a bunch of drunk 18-25 year olds that have the inability (at times) to know classy from trashy while drunk at a football game. Take it for what it's worth. In other words, don't say others didn't warn you.

My friend sat in the LSU student section last year, wore a t shirt that said Saban Bait on it, and he had a good time.
