My daughter sat in the LSU student section for the Arkansas game two years ago (Arkansas' overtime victory), and had no problems (other than some good natured taunting). She was with her brother, big LSU fan, which helped.

Hahaha...bullshite! I sat in the UF section with my fiance at the LSU game last year and I dealt with crap the WHOLE game!

price is about the only reason. Sitting in another teams section is whatever but a student section is a diff beast. More people in a smaller space and most are drunker so just more chances for shite to happen.

for a broke college kid... payn 60-80 for a ticket versus paying 260-350 on stubhub is a no brainer...i realize sittn in the student section is not an ideal place to sit for an opposing fan, im more than willing to deal with it to save 150-200 dollars...i think it will be fine..if we act like dumbasses we deserve to get harrassed

fwiw use the student ticket and go in that gate and then just watch from a tunnel in another section
