I protest the National Anthem.

[rant]

It's a bad poem, written by a lawyer, glorifying the most senseless war our country's ever been in, and put to a British drinking tune.

It's incredibly dumb.

The Star Spangled Banner =/= America.

But what's really anti-American, and spits in the eyes of all who have fought for our liberty, is the "love it or leave it" bullshite. I suggest that if you hate the First Amendment, then it is you who should leave.

Bill of Rights > Some Stupid Song.

Even though POTUS who is arrogant enough to think he is bigger than the country, he is not. He is a person, just a person who, the national anthem and that flag represents this great country, and is more important than any one position within the government. POTUS is all about globalism and defending domestic terrorist groups like BLM and not propping up radical Islam or hiding away from it. Him with his "globalism" that he so proudly ranted about at his last United Nations speech will undo what America stands for and is built upon. He is all about division of the American people and not unity, he proudly supports racist individuals and groups and their beliefs. He often degrades the American people when speaking globally. He and his corrupt, liberal American hating administration including Clinton and all their minions are not the flag or the anthem. Therefore you are clearly missing the point on what is important. When you claim hypocrisy and saying disrespecting the POTUS who is against the American way and the identity of what American is is the same as disrespecting the flag or anthem. They are a true representation of this country and all he is is someone who holds an office who respects this country and its ideals about as much as those idiots who kneel.

You're one of those people who thinks the POTUS is a Muslim and was born in some foreign land.

No there isn't. And how is engaging in a thread about it ignoring it. You are "ignoring" our cause because you are ignorant.

It's amazing how some people are so up in arms over people peacefully protesting are often the same people who PROUDLY publicly disrespect the POTUS (often border lining on Racism.)

The hypocrisy is astounding, even though these people don't realize that they are inacting the same rights as the flag protesters.

Criticizing a president is different from disrespecting the entire country. Presidents (of all parties) have always been criticized harshly.

No one is saying that people can't vent their grievances on an issue (even if the "issue" is a bunch of made-up bullshite). I just think doing it in a way that says "frick you America" is not the way to go about it.
