why does every LSU fan hate this "Javi"

This was a young team that is returning alot of talent and has been developing some good ball players too. Over look them if you like but they will be a top team in the SEC this season. So DWI.
BTW, we got the worst shafting in our regional placement of all the SEC teams. We should have been hosting.

1. Arkansas - they are #1 on paper. Will the pressure get to them?
2. LSU - Never underestimate LSU baseball. Never.
3. Ole Miss - lots of question marks after last year's horrible showing.
4. aTm - usually very good, but I understand they are younger this year. probably just reloaded.
5. Miss State - I think rated too low here. They have a top notch pitching stable and that is fairly deep. Don't count them out.
6. Auburn, 7. Alabama - Did both Bama and Auburn spend all their money on football? Joking aside, 6 or 7 in the WEST is still top 20 nationally.

No
Auburn and Bama are terrible at baseball

Top 5 in the West are pretty damn good. We finally have enough pitching, just have to see how well we do at the plate. At this point, it's so hard to tell where teams will end up. We will be 3 or 4, but it's really too hard to tell right now

U dumb.

I wouldn't put us too high right now. You don't just replace two first round picks (Tyler Naquin and Michael Wacha) as well as a no-hit pitcher (Ross Stripling) and out best power hitter (Jacob House) without a significant dropoff.

Mississippi State returns virtually their entire team that won 40 games last year. Plus CT Bradford, Darryl Norris, Nick Flair, and Ben Bracewell are fully healthy.
We also have the best closer in the SEC in Jonathan Holder.

Arkansas
MSU
Ole Miss
LSU
the rest
LSU vastly overachieved from a metric standpoint last year. The won't be statistically capable of staying that far ahead of extrapolated production.
Ole Miss was the opposite in terms of extrapolated runs. They lose a lot on offense, but expected production for 2013 should be at least what actual production was for 2012. Pitching will be much better.
State is much better than people are giving them credit for. Butch Thompson might be the best assistant and pitching coach in the SEC.

Lol at thinking LSU will finish behind both Mississippi schools. I can't remember that ever happening, and I don't think it happens this year, either.
I expect LSU to win the west, quite honestly.

1. LSU - If LSU finds a Sunday starter, they will be in Omaha.
2. Arky - I liked Arky a lot last season, but they crumbled in conference play. I think they are a stud team this year, but I have to see them do work in SEC play before I give them props.
3. Miss St - losing your ace is big, still have plenty of talent. Potential to win the west no doubt.
4. Ole Miss - this would be my dark horse if I had to pick one. Solid team, but can they put it together?
5. A&M - lost way too much pitching, will take lots of bumps in 1st season in stacked SEC West.

LSU & Arkansas will have a dogfight for the top spot in the West.
Should be fun

"Everyone", except your Friday night ace first rounder who was an auto-win basically. Shut up...

LSU has a very tough conference slate this season. Luckily with the exception of Arkansas and Miss St. the tough series are at home.
Home vs Florida, Kentucky, USCe, and Ole Miss.
