If you are 4th in hitting and first in RBI, you have a great chance of being first in runs scored. Especially if the teams above you in hitting are below you in RBI, which was the case last year.

Not rocket science.

Lol at thinking LSU will finish behind both Mississippi schools. I can't remember that ever happening, and I don't think it happens this year, either.

I get that a lot.

You are overthinking something that is fairly straight forward. Read what I said and tell me where the fallacy lies, if you can.

You're argument has nothing to do with anything I've said. RBI's do not figure into extrapolating runs in any way. Are you familiar with baseball metrics at all?

"Everyone", except your Friday night ace first rounder who was an auto-win basically. Shut up...

LSU lost their Fri night starter who was a 1st rounder but nobody is saying anything bad about them.

Your argument is backasssward. You are looking at LSU as the anomaly, when you should be looking at why the other teams aren't hitting as well with men in scoring positions.

Honestly, I have to agree with this. We always have a mid-season slump then get hot after we rest in Hoover. I actually expect us to finish 2nd or 3rd in the west but finish the season ranked the highest nationally, similar to last year. I think '04 was the only time we actually won the west and still made it to Omaha.

This right here...seems to always happen with Arkansas. This is what I was implying.

Why do I see people having MSU like 5th in their predictions? That is a dangerous team.

We return 8 starting position players and our DH, yet everybody thinks losing our Ace will make us worse than last year. Our young pitchers did very good in the Cape this past summer.

That's because Aaron Nola will make a smooth transition to Friday. He has great stuff and we shouldn't miss a beat on Friday. Sunday will be the problem for LSU.

Doing well in Cape doesn't mean they will do well in SEC play. Miss St is a very good team. The West as a whole is probably the most competitive division in baseball in the country.

And Kendall Graveman who had a sub 3.00 ERA won't make a smooth transition? Evan Mitchell was hitting 95-97 all fall and Brandon Woodruff showed his stuff beating Kentucky in the regular season and Arkansas in the SECt as a FR

I meant Aaron...sorry

Bundy, I think I had y'all 3rd. I'm not saying State is bad at all, it's just a stacked division.
