The only way Alabama would be able to play a game that week is to move one already on their schedule.

It makes absolutely no sense for Bama to change their schedule or add a game in. Not moving any games around due to cancellation, just evening out the byes to the same week? What the frick? You play teams all the time coming off a bye when you didn't just have one

I don't think it's a serious suggestion, i think it's more Joe making it publicly clear we aren't going to be pushed around on this after how everything last week went down.

Alleva couldn't let Sankey and Foley get all of the blame without coming off like a clown. I think he is desperate to keep his job and thinks being tough and unreasonable will endear him to the lsu fan base.
