Careful what you wish for. That "someone" getting screwed could be LSU. If LSU and Fla can't be rescheduled, that lost game could keep LSU out of the SECCG. Can you imagine the whining if LSU beats Alabama then watches Bama play in Atlanta because LSU played one less conference game? A meltdown of epic proportions.

Yeah I'm salty as frick that every team could play their game if they didn't have similar byes to reschedule EXCEPT us. FSU and Miami even had a contingency plan to relocate the game. I guess if all of my 4 of my starting defensive linemen were hurt too though, I'd use any excuse to not play the game then.

This sounds like the opposite. Sounds like Joe is pissed that he tried everything to play it this past weekend and Florida said absolutely not.
He basically said LSU will not play this game if it causes a disadvantage for LSU. Is that being scared? I guess other fan bases will say that even though none of them would he willing to put their teams at a disadvantage in an SEC game.
No other team wants to change up their schedule to make a solution but everyone expects LSU to do just that despite this being a matter of Florida refusing to play when it was scheduled.
Joe got played like a fool by Foley last week and is trying to be on the offense this week. Probably won't work, because now people will throw this on LSU refusing to play and Florida will get a free pass.

That home game will be South vs Presbyterian while LSU is in Gainesville playing UF.
This way the town gets a home game to help mitigate economic issues for the local establishments. The L5u fans get to see a game in Tiger Stadium.
They will also be able to show the UF game on the Jumbotrons and have those huge inflatable movie screens placed on the field.
It's a win win.
