Obviously it's ridiculous to suggest Bama move a game to that weekend, but it's also ridiculous to make LSU play its 4 best opponents in 5 weeks with 3 of those being away games when this game should have been played yesterday or today.

Damn right we do and it does sound like it. We tried to play any time, any day, and any where on the weekend that it was scheduled.
At this point if it is played it should, and appears will, be on our terms. UF and the stupid arse SEC will dictate nothing to us. This could turn Alleva's career at LSU around if he does what he should do.

You mean like @ Arkansas, @ Tennessee, Texas A&M, @ LSU in a 5 week stretch? 3 top 15 teams and a top 25 team?

Alleva was not being serious about bama playing on their bye week. It was a message to the SEC office that he thinks the ONLY option is to play the game the week after the season is over and push back the sec championship game if possible.

IMO, LSU/UF game should be penciled in as a tie and keep the schedule "as is".
