Saban is a boss gotta give the man credit. He knows all he has to do is say something publicly and he'll get whatever he wants.

So does this mean the students in those organizations dont have the tickets for this weekend? or it is just open seating for all students now instead of block seating? I dont know how block seating works.

You are the one who posted it. Did you seriously not bother to actually read it?

It is far from clear in regards to what I was asking. I have no clue if your ticket is tied to your organization or if you have individual tickets that you personally have like the rest of the students but are allowed to sit in that section.

Wow.
That's pretty bad.

It's bad from the perspective of an Aggie because fraternities (to the best of my knowledge) are still a small percentage of the student body at A&M. I like this move. A lot. Well done by Saban or whoever at jacking 'em up.

Good, but it won't change anything. Bama fans are spoiled.

GOOD! This has been needing to be done for 2 years. The are waayyyy too many people at Bama games to socialize and be seen. Not just students. I had a lady sitting in front of me for the Ole Miss game and she didn't know who Amari Cooper was. She admitted she was bored and finally left after the 2nd qtr. Told her husband she'd see him at home. He said he didn't know why she comes and admitted she is taking up a seat. Said she likes to see her friends but knows nothing about football and doesn't care.

For who? I sure hope it doesn't affect the way the frats perform against UT.

This seems awfully odd unless students simply gave UA an excuse last week to take and reassign those prime seats for one reason or another. It is the TSiO and a lot of fans want to be there. Judging from the photos, Bryant-Denny was a ghost town and it went far beyond students leaving early.

I don't have a problem with allowing block seating but from what I've heard those in frats/sororities get better seats than other students. If that's true then I don't really see that as cool -- we're way past the days of where students see Greek life as anything more than a social club/party invite. Let them choose a single game for a priority block each year if they want to promote student org/club involvement. After that give them randomly assigned blocks for other games just like regular students get randomly assigned seats/pairs.

Last thing Saban likes is reporters not asking questions about football and going off on some tangent that has no bearing on if they win the game or not.

They actually have some of the worst seats in the stadium.

field level endzone have to be the worst (which these sections are). You have absolutely no clue how far anyone has ran/thrown.

I don't know why they care about those seats. The sideline is where it's at.
