It's the fact that so many of your fans are cowtowing to him that is concerting. If Shula had said the same thing, you'd be going nuts.

What student contract are you talking about?

I was far more concerned with Shula's win/loss record than anything that came out of his mouth.

I think this concern about block seating emptying early and the rule about suspension goes back at least a couple of decades.
Saban may have just been the first one with the clout and/or determination to see it enforced.

Which proves my point. frick the maniacism... just win baby and I'll do whatever you say. Jim Jones says Hi.

I fricking love that. I wish our university would do it.

I already said block seating is stupid. He didn't blame the frats, and he didn't blame the frats several years ago for a football team's loss...he blamed a fan base.

What part of my post makes you think I do or care what Saban says?

This has you really upset for some reason. Is everything OK?
It's funny that you as an Au fan are so overly concerned about this topic, it's only game, no need to let it affect you this way. Plus what he said wasn't that bad and from what I've read on the subject he didn't really go off crazy like on the fans. It didn't bother me, it's his opinion and he can voice it and I can ignore it.
I know you are using this topic as a medium to flame Bama fans and Coach Sabah but you really come off as insecure, bitter and outwardly affected by his comments.
Serious business is fandom. LOL

Get off your fricking high horse.
People have been grumbling about this for years. It was a long time coming. Don't act like none of us even noticed until Saban said something and then we all suddenly decided that there was a problem with people showing up late and leaving early.

Maybe you should write a book on how to be a fan and how to react to insignificant comments by the coach.
Preciatte your interest in our fans !

Maybe where you said earlier in this thread that if anyone disagrees with what Saban said, "they should check their priorities".
Posted on 10/25/13 at 11:26 pm to NorthGwinnettTiger
You might want to check that post again. I didn't say disagree. I said get upset. Huge difference.

It's also why our coach walks around AU tailgates after games, embracing the fans and taking pictures with those that pay his salary...not going and blasting them to the media.

Insignificant? Your fricking athletic department banned half your student section because the coach got his panties in a wad over people who have lives outside of Alabama football and want to leave a 42-0 game in the 4th quarter when he's running the ball up the gut every time.
Posted on 10/25/13 at 11:30 pm to NorthGwinnettTiger
No one is banned from going to the game.

Banned? No. They can still get in the stadium in student seats. Only difference is that they will not have a certain section guaranteed to them. If they want to sit with their buddies, they will have to get there early like the rest of the students.
I don't know why an Aubie fan would be making such a big deal out of this

Suspending block seating doesn't stop anyone from going to the game. They warned the frats back in July that if they kept leaving at halftime they would lose their block seating. Saban's comments had nothing to do with it. This has been in the works for a few years. You are either trolling or have a lot more dumbfrick NtY Aubtard in you than I ever gave you credit for.
