I'd say you need to start focusing on where Clemson gets their players and start solving that mystery first!

I'd say you need to start focusing on where Wisconsin/Auburn/Florida/Alabama gets their players and start solving that mystery.

Complaints+not backing down to to principal's demands. The latter being the major reason. Complaints and being an efficient employee are the 2 most likely reasons to lose a govt job.

Yeah, how dare someone stick to their principles and values doing what they think is right. What an a-hole!

There's absolutely nothing wrong with sticking to your principles and values. Just don't go on public radio with your moral superiority and tell everyone you've banned one of the top college programs in the country. Coach just needed to keep it on the down low and he'd still be coaching the kids.

Yea, just hush and all is fine. Wouldn't want to answer a question honestly about something you felt strongly about. Just keep it to yourself so the machine can continue turning.

frick that. You see something you think is wrong, speak up. You a Trump supporter?

Why do you think the coach was so vocal (publicly) about his "banning" Bama from "his" campus?

Because he was upset at the recruiting tactics. Let me guess, you think it was all about getting back in good graces with LSU fans?

I mean, he recently won a state title in one of the most competitive HS football states in America. He will find a job with ease. God forbid he speak out against what he deemed immoral recruiting practices.

IF he does get another chance, you can bet your arse that he'll be totally muzzled by the school administrators. That guy had been warned by his superiors before, but didn't pay heed to the warnings, so....he got what he had coming....a swift kick in the arse out the door. Again, not many administrators want a employee who has already shown themselves to be a problem.

Which tactics, exactly, though? The non-hard offer to Harris? I'm not sure I know all the specifics of his frustration point.

Doubt it was that thought out. I think it is what you said primarily, with a part of it being ego ("look at the power I have over the biggest name in all of coaching" type thing), part of it also being that he's an LSU fan and doesn't mind sticking it to Bama whenever he can.

I do not believe that it was solely because he had best interest of his players at heart, and that is my issue.

Totally support this notion by the way.

You don't know jack shite about his intentions or motives....just what you've read in the papers.....all speculation.

The guy has a history of letting his mouth overload his arse...a trait I've observed from the majority of LSU fans.

Problem is....that's not his job, nor does he have the authority to make that call for the school. The school rep stated that he'd been reprimanded more than once, so.....guess what.

First of all, I know those who know the most about it made the decision to relieve him of his duties. That decision carries more weight than any of our speculation.

Second, "just what you read in the papers"? Who reads a paper in 2017, old timer? I know what I heard on his interview on the radio. I know what I've seen in articles (from papers?) online about the guy.

If he had the best interest of his players at heart, he'd let his ego take a backseat and he would have worked with the Alabama coaching staff directly to deal with his frustrations. Again, he's a loud mouth with an over inflated opinion of himself who thought he could say and do whatever he wanted without consequence. I never want to see anyone get fired unless the offense is egregious. I'm not sure this singular offense would meet that standard. That said, I'm sure he was given opportunity to explain himself to his superiors and they still made decision to relieve him of coaching duties.

One of the "reprimands" was not having his lesson plan binder OPEN during an observation in the classroom. What a goddamn a-hole he is!!!

Could it be that the principal is an egotistical turd who pursued a pissing contest with the coach and also happens to be a Bama fan?

You're pissed because he had the sack to tell Satan and company to get bent....which is fricking hilarious. Cant blame him for that.

so it is hilarious for him to get fired for getting even with NS when it could be that NS was not in the wrong.
