Not fired. The REC is generous and has allowed him to continue coaching math.

He shouldn't have tried to be billy bad arse.

Don't mess with Nick Saban. He's the most powerful man in sports.

But seriously, the parents probably got him fired for limiting their kids' opportunities. You don't ban the best program and coach in CFB.

But will he allow the math team to be approached by Alabama math professors?

When we go to LA we are looking for athletes, not mathletes.

FWIW, most LSU fans are glad he isn't the head coach anymore as well. Myself included.

When you try to banish Bama from your recruiting your players but accidentally get yourself banished from coaching them instead

Gracious! Brandon Harris has gotten ANOTHER coach fired?

Compare the fate of this loser-coach who dared to take on Alabama, with the end game of the New Orleans coaches who proposed a boycott of LSU.

Parkway coach - anti-Alabama was fired..

New Orleans coaches - still standing, still behind-the-scenes advising against going to Baton Rouge, being coddled, wheedled, and pleaded with by the LSU powers-brokers, to no avail, as 7 (or 8) out of 10 top Louisiana players go out of State.

I think that explains who calls the shots in LHSAA football in Louisiana.

We will see if this holds. Boys from the boot is this weekend and there aree many from NOLA on committment watch. Mickey Joseph has been on an offering spree.

Well, Nicky got a La. District Atty to not press charges against his stud, so where is the surprise that a mere high school coaches gets booted for messing with Nicky? (sarcasm, chill)

Heard his rant on the Saban subject. Seemed like legit reasoning if you ask me

Looks like this might actually help us! As his star players are now pissed that he was released because of the apparent Bama Comments!

Because Saban and Co. changed their minds on a committable offer?

quote:

"Napier calls me the next day and says, 'Coach, I have some good news for you. Tell Brandon to call me on this phone during this period and I'll put Nick Saban on the phone,"' Feaster said. "We do that and Saban says, 'You have a scholarship at the University of Alabama.' So, they gave him a scholarship offer. It was a committable offer. "By the time he gets to campus in June -- and I'm not saying Brandon was going to commit to Alabama -- it wasn't an option. Basically what they told him is that we got other guys that are going to come through here, and I promised them a shot. So we have to wait and see then."

I love how he tried to portray Ohio State as not doing the same thing in his initial comments. Danny Clark getting recruited over at QB even after taking a "commitable offer" is how he's ended up at Kentucky.

Sounds like there needs to be a purge. That kindler, gentler shait is probably why we lost to Clemson.
