Not sure why you're replying to me. I didn't downvote you. I appreciated the reply. Virtually the only reason I ever downvote is when someone insists on inserting their politics into a sports discussion thread. Or, if I'm feeling ornery, because I suspect the person is a witch. Either way. If I disagree with a person, I prefer to reply to them and outline why I disagree. Seems more sensible and effective than downvoting.

Fair enough. If it makes you feel better, I looked over the page and it appears someone is just downvoting everybody in range, regardless of content. Probably wasn't aimed specifically at your answer.

This coach has publicly been an idiot/baby for years. This is just another incident where he publicly ran his mouth and brought negative attention to his school.

Is voodoo the same as being a witch? Or is that something completely different?

Without knowing the guy at all, this doesn't surprise me. For him to be so blatant in his comments about not allowing the top program in the country on "his" campus made him seem like a guy who maybe had a history of that.

In 2015, after Harris didn't play enough as a true freshman:

quote:

"Please get out of there," Feaster said he told Harris. "I wanted him to go to junior college. Go to a junior college, and because he's a qualifier, he can just be there one year, leave at the midterm and restart the recruiting process all over again."

quote:

"You've got the worst passing game in the country, and the best quarterback in the country sitting on the bench," Feaster said. "Why don't we even try him against Arkansas? He almost saved you against Mississippi State, did save you against New Mexico State. Why don't we even give him a shot in some of these other games we can't get a first down?"

And this is where it gets worse IMO:

quote:

"Brandon is really enjoying LSU," Feaster said. "He's all in for it. He's just going to try and compete. Maybe there'll be a different set of criteria this year on how they choose their quarterback, and maybe he'll get a shot."

So keep your mouth shut publicly then

quote:

"The stuff they've been saying has been lies," Feaster said. "That he has trouble learning plays or checks, reading defenses, all that is bogus. He got there in January. They had plenty of time to go over the plays. I'll just say that on his behalf, all that stuff is lies.

quote:

"He's (Les Miles) the head coach, and he plays who he wants to. I don't want people telling me who to play at QB either. But I don't think they should be putting out false information about Brandon to make him look bad."

And look, he may have even been right, but that gives you an idea of where Harris got his snowflake attitude from.

You keep that crap between you Harris and maybe Les Miles. Especially if, as he said, Harris is "really enjoying LSU" and is "all in for it".

Voodoo isn't but hoodoo is. It's a common source of confusion.

Bonehead got himself fired. And he's still yapping. If he keep it up, he may get fired from his teaching job too.
Tenured teachers have to do something criminal to get fired. That's what's wrong with public education in this country.

I think he got himself fired for misstating the facts. I doubt NS or anyone from Bama had to call anyone at that school. You are denying your kids a chance to meet with a natty championship program and the chance to get a free ride. That DA fired himself.

Wrong. He'd been warned before. Coach got himself fired. Everyone blame Saban. But if he was coming to your school to coach, you'd forget all about it. High School.coaches do NOT have that authority. Only school administration

This is a bull shite comment. I taught for a short time before going back to medical school. Like any government job, people complaining = you get fired. Your competency typically doesn't matter, but any ethical or moral related issue = fired. And then people can file false complaints if they just don't like you.

Most people don't get fired for that shite. I can (and often have) tell my department chief to go frick himself and he won't do shite as long as I put out results.

I can promise you something DA that if a tenured teacher in Alabama told their supervisor to go Eff himself/herself, they would have cause to fire you.
