Parkway is a private school IIRC they can ban anyone they want from their campus including the Dark One.

I'm sure they can, but I'm pretty sure the head football coach doesn't make that decision.

The REC owns the SEC offices, the refs, the players and parents, the Dodge Chargers and now Louisiana High School football coaches too.

That's quite impressive.

Doing the same thing and the way things play out are two different things.

For instance, I can say you're an idiot politely and I can say the same thing vulgarly and sure they may mean the same thing but one may feel different than the other.

So because Ohio State sugar coats it, they should be in better graces?

So then, I'm right. They're "better" because there's less hurt feelings when a kid is lied to about being recruited over.

Where in the link you provided does it state anything about Ohio State doing the same thing?

And it depends on how they lied? Are two scenarios the exact same?

It was an absurdly dumb statement to stay.

You're going to prevent a school from talking to kids about free rides to a college degree?

Beyond idiotic, and I hate Alabama as much as the next guy.

Pretty much this.

Coach is wrong to shut a school out. He handled the situation wrong. What he should do is just lay the facts out for the kid and let them know all the details of the supposed unethical recruiting. Then the kid and his family can make the best choice for them. At the same time it was equally bad that these New Orleans coaches were considering banning LSU.

Urban Meyer offered Clark "too early", ended up recruiting over him, and Clark ended up having to decommit. Thankfully, he ended up at Kentucky. Personally, I don't have an issue with that but spare me the crying by a HS football coach because Saban gave him a committable offer than recruited over him. And then threatening to ban Saban from his school over it as well. It's fricking football recruiting.

The difference is he didnt do it to feaster. I get the point you are trying to make but if that would have been a parkway kid that it was done to Feaster would have banned Ohio State. Guy cares about his own kids.

It's like having that friend who you have a crush on and watching her cheat on her boyfriends but you dont care. Then you start dating her and she cheats on you so you in fact care a lot. Follow?

If he cared about his kids, he'd keep his mouth shut publicly and handle that conversation privately with his player. You think he's the first or last HS coach that's been unhappy with how a college coach has handled the recruitment of one of their players?

No he is not. Obviously he should have because he is no longer the coach. I don't agree with the guy, nor like the guy. I'm just explaining to you the reasoning as to why he did what he did. Not sure why you are arguing with me over it really
