clearly defined champion

You say that, but how many of the NCAAT champions of the last 20 years wouldn't have even made the Tournament pre-1978?

2015 : Duke didn't win the ACC Regular Season or ACC Tournament , they wouldn't have been in

2014 : UConn didn't win the AAC Regular Season or Tournament, they wouldn't have been in

2012 : Kentucky didn't win the SEC Tournament, they wouldn't have been in

2009 : North Carolina didn't win the ACC Tournament, they wouldn't have been in

So, the tournament of the 1970's and before was much more like the current Final Four football format than the NCAAT today.

Do y'all even know what point you're trying to make anymore?

We seem to have moved to the idea that Football Titles aren't real and Basketball Titles are.

Polls are apparently real too even though football titles aren't.

The SEC champion is determined by regular season not by tournament. It helps if you know what you're talking about first. The SECT champion does get an auto bid but that doesn't determine whether we go to the dance or not. Try again.

Wut? In the current day, the only team guaranteed a bid to the NCAA Tournament is the winner of each conference's tournament.

After you explain how 10 is somehow greater than 11.

I think its harder to stay Elite in basketball. In Football Alabama has top recruiting class every year and they are there 3-5 years. Kentucky gets top recruits in basketball and has to reload on year a to year basis.

I think it is much easier to get elite quickly in basketball for the same reason.

Football is a bigger machine made up of more pieces, so it takes longer to get cranked up and it keeps moving longer even once the architect leaves. Basketball can turn on and off like a spigot.

Also not true. Not always. But in your case I suppose I'll call you teats, since your posts are about as useful as teats on a boar hog.

Lately? Bama football. All time? Could go either way IMO. Love both programs though, they both set the standard for the rest of the SEC.

And sometimes you shouldn't say that you're "done" with someone if you're gonna keep responding.
