1983 AU was recognized by 19 selectors and was unanimous champion in every computer based system.

Miami was recognized by 12 total.

And we were recognized by a majority of selectors in 1925.

Computer and math systems are, and have always been, absolutely terrible. It never ceases to amaze me why anyone cares about that crap.

And yeah, I'm fully aware that Bama counts NCs that were only awarded by math systems, and they are terrible claims.

What's funny is his link still says "Recognized Champions - Miami" at the very top.

AP - Miami #1, auburn #3
Coaches - Miami #1, auburn #3

That far outweighs ALL the verbal excrement that you spew.

Don't really need the computers to say AU was the 1983 national champ. By pretty much any and every measure AU was more deserving than miami.

Is not even debateable unless you are ignorant.

Course that describes most bama fans so I anticipate bama fans will disagree.

OR a voter in the two legitimate polls, which left auburn at third.

But spew on, Jackass.

But you didn't refute the point, did you? It was SO obvious to anyone but the ignorant that auburn was the best...

...except a majority of voters in BOTH of the two polls that are universally considered the legitimate selectors of the national champions.

So....spew on.

Still no rebuttal.

If saying auburn was not the best team in 1983 is ignorant, then not only are the majority of both sportswriters AND coaches poll voters ignorant, they are so ignorant that they ranked your team THIRD.

So go frick yourself now.
