Maybe we have different definitions of traveling well, but there were at least 10,000 Bama fans at Kyle and another couple thousand who didn't have tickets but tailgated. They brought more fans to Kyle than anyone but Texas, including the POS trashy LSU fans that showed up last year and acted like they owned the place.
I'll go ahead and disagree with this. There were far more LSU fans last year, imo.

And he was recruited as a safety by tu? Imagine the hot mess they would be in if he started for them. Oh wait

In fairness to LSU fans last year it was an 11 am and it was a week before their game vs big bro. The only excuses Bama has so far is that they couldn't afford football or plane tickets.

You're confusing yourselves with LSU.

I can relate... wasn't impressed by the number of Agglits in Tuscaloosa last year either. But then, I wasn't expecting to be impressed, so there was no disappointment like you felt this weekend.

Id rather buy guns, hookers and blow with the $1200 I saved from going to the game than watch your all male cheerleaders play patty cake and tug on each others mule.

With this being the Game of the Century and your biggest game of the year, we were led to believe your fans would show up in droves. Did the high price point of the tickets eliminate a large portion of your fans that might have normally attended? What gives?
From what I hear, A&M didn't honor the gentlemens agreement with respect to equal ticket swapping. Alabama is supposedly filing a complaint with the SEC and you won't be getting near as large a section in BDS next season.

I am a season ticket holder and did not have the option to buy ATM tickets. I may not give enough money but when you alot 6K for opposing team, wtf do you expect?

Is the end of the Aggy-Gump love affair? Have yall tried counseling?

We're you there? Yes the general fans were fewer but the fans in the stands were of greater number and louder than tu and OU fans ever were
Bama represented very well. Can't wait to visit Bama

In fairness to Alabama fans, Tuscaloosa to College Station is 630 miles.
Baton Rouge to CS is 365 miles. Not that mileage keeps some fans away, but that is quite a road trip for some, I'm sure.

"acted like they owned the place" . really, what were we supposed to do, kiss your arse? be contrite, humble, tell everybody howdy, act inferior, etc. sometimes texans come off as superior to us louisianians and that would piss anybody off. even new yorkers are better than that. i have not heard one aggie and i know quite a few that had one negative thing to say about us LSU fans in CS last year. now i hear we "acted like we owned the place" and we are POS and trashy. frick off dude.

The SEC does not mandate any specific allotment of tickets. Instead, each pair of schools negotiates a quantity of seats to reserve for the other when those two schools play. Those allotments range from 4,000 to 10,000. Texas A&M has decided that it will provide 6,000 seats for visit ing teams at Kyle Field, therefore allowing 6,000 Aggies to attend each SEC road game.
Not in the game. (Unless Aggie fans sold their tickets)

Didn't we give A & M 10,000 and they were supposed to reciprocate?
I couldn't get tickets unless I wanted to pay $600 each. I checked hotels way back when and b/c of Diamond HH status could have gotten in the Hampton Inn....$400 a night and a 3 night minimum. No other hotels available. Would have had to fly and rent a car from Houston or Austin. Husband isn't a football fan and refused to drive our big arse RV all the way out there b/c he said it was too hot. Although I wanted to go, way to much for a regular season game. Even if I could have gotten FF tickets would have cost around $4000 add another grand or so if I had to pay for airfare. So in a word not worth it.
