I have a question about that clip with JFF trying to tackle. Wasn't he leading with his head? If he had been successful, I wonder if he would have been ejected for personal foul.

Head/Neck/Shoulder area brah...learn the stupid new rule.

You should learn the difference between the rules:

Rule 9-1, Article 3: Targeting/Initiating Contact With the Crown of the Helmet. No player shall target and initiate contact against an opponent with the crown (top) of his helmet. When in question, it is a foul.

Rule 9-1, Article 4: Defenseless Player: Contact to Head or Neck Area. No player shall target and initiate contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless opponent with the helmet, forearm, elbow or shoulder. When in question, it is a foul.

According to 9-1, Art. 3, initiating contact with the crown of the helmet is technically a foul no matter where you hit the opposing player.

9-1, Art. 4 deals with contact above the opponent's shoulder and includes contact with helmet, forearm, elbow or shoulder when initiating contact above the opponent's shoulder.

Don't get em in a knot, I was just asking. Leading with the head like that, he could have easily hit the other player in the head, and it certaily looks like it would have been from the crown of his helmet. You really don't need to explain the rule to me, but perhaps you should explain to the refs.

Look again - I was responding to the guy who responded to you saying you should learn the rules. I was actually backing up the legitimacy of your question and making fun of the guy who was trying to tell you to "learn the rules" when he obviously didn't know them.

There were far more LSU fans last year, imo.

Yea, there were probably more that just came from Houston than Bama had in total. We owned that shitty little bar area, especially the three story bar. And I know it was an 11:00 am game, but tailgating LSU fans outnumbered TAMU tailgaters 10 to 1. Poor effort from y'all.

Add to the fact that aggy is scared to come to BR for whatever reason, and y'all are not having a good first impression as an SEC school.

I mean I'll go to places like West Africa or the Middle East for business if its absolutely necessary but there is no way I would choose to go to such a place for leisure.

You could have just agreed with my assessment of you being a vagina. It would have saved a few keystrokes.

That's the opposite of the truth, but y'all had a better, more youthful showing. Met plenty of Louisiana natives comes in from Austin and Dallas as well. Two coonass bartenders from Austin wiped me out on jello shots.

I guess the thousands of alumni of your school that flee the dangerous streets and ghettos of Louisiana for Texas after graduating are pussies too then. You shouldn't be so unfair to them, it's a feel good story

Nah Houston needs the talent to run all those plants south of the city. The locals don't have the heads to do that. Hell, most locals there can't speak english.

Sorry, bout that. I guess I know the rules, but didn't bother to read all the posts before responding. He just made me pretty mad, because I thought it was a legitimate question, and from the clip he was leading with his head. It would almost have been worth the tackle to see what the refs would have done.

1) Only 6,000 tickets were allotted to Bama fans.
2) It was "the game of the century" to the media, not to any Bama fan I know. Read what you want into that.

If you thought this year was bad then wait until 2015. From every Bama fan I talked to who went to the game they all said Kyle Field was the biggest shithole of a stadium they had ever attended. I'd be shocked if 500 Bama fans show up in that dump again.

What, you don't like the stench of bat shite in the afternoon? The challenge is, if you leave the stadium you are still in College Station/Bryan. If you wanted to give Texas an enema... that is where you would stick the tube.

Then they'd be known as Texas A&Enema.
