You’ll see two deep safeties to make sure the deep ball isn’t open.

Milroe passing to intermediate routes is the key.

Will these attempts result in turnovers?

If Bama doesn’t have to attempt these then they have no issues…

They sure did last Saturday. And, that was at home…against Rice. It didn’t give me the warm fuzzies about going on the road in a hostile night environment.

First of all, thanks for saying something about real football. They did seem to have the jitters and last season I know they had great running backs to settle things down. You guys ran for over 400 yards on this team last season.

They ain't in Kansas anymore, and they have trouble beating Kansas lately.

Some of the dog and pony stunts Rice ran at us were pretty creative imo.. we made the adjustments at halftime and it was fine after that

Agree, but Bama will do the same, get home quicker and disguise things to send guys off the edges. All the comms have to be silent too because they won’t be able to hear anything on the field.

You bet. I know what it’s like in that stadium. It ain’t for the faint of heart and small issues get magnified in that environment. Better buckle your chinstrap.

I think some of those “dumps” are harder to win in that you might think, but I do agree that getting the W at BDS is a different beast altogether, especially when you have a team that plays up or down to the level of opponent.

That doesn’t work in our favor much, but it does this week. I think we’ll show up, but it’s gonna be hard as hell to get the W.

17-14 (either way) is about what I’m thinking..

This BAMA team wants to pound the rock. Plus, I think they will see more planned runs from our QB. How long are the horns going before putting the extra player in the box? The long ball is there and will be there because of the extra attention at the LOS.

My sources are telling me Sark told Rice the kind of gameplan Saban was going to execute so Rice could emulate it. Didn't tell our players so they'd be caught off guard.

if you wanna throw at Catalon, be my guest..
he may not make it the whole year, but he is playing this week

Our D appears to be salty.. we’ll find out this week.. I do think we will have to spy Milroe.. not sure who yet.. Hill might be a good bet

I'll tell you a secret about Saturday night, the offense that goes one-dimensional is in a whole lot of trouble. Stop the running game and it gets a whole lot easier. Both defenses will have to go Nickel and the first team that can't invoke its will on the ground in this game is going to get their feelings hurt.

Think Ford is the guy. His twitch and experience reading QB’s eyes are the key. He can drop in short zone and once Milroe tucks, he’s looking to run first (unlike BY last year).

Ford proved he can pick those intermediate throws also.

Turnovers are the gameplan.

Prevent the big plays and force Milroe to make plays in the red zone.

There’s a lot of truth in that statement, and I agree.. turnovers and special teams will be big as well.. i’m just not sure how much success either offense is gonna have this week.

PK definitely runs a bend but don’t break defense.. we just have the big ugly’s this year where we might not bend much either..

I don’t bet on college sports, but mashing the under (56.5) is very appealing based on how both teams are built & what I saw in week 1.

What lead running back? Take that stupid mentality to BDS.

205 total rushing yards and a 5.1 YPC. And Middle Tennessee was selling out at the LOS and just made it too tempting not to go over the top.

1000% agree.. almost said it earlier but forgot..both defenses are salty and both offenses have question marks.. I think it stays under 40.. that’s a long cry from 56.5
