Glad the game is in Tuscaloosa

This is a pretty big deal since Sark has only ever won three games on the road there and I think they were all Kansas level competition, and the other Alabama fan pointed out an interesting to stat. UTrans hasn’t played for a crowd this size since 2005.

good players, a great playcaller coach

No argument with this point I wonder why they struggle so hard to get six wins each year against such weak competition?

They won 8 games last year and clearly have better players in the trenches than they have in a decade. They have question marks just like we do but they'll present us a challenge.

I was looking at the average, for the coach and for the team over the last decade, I believe they’re at 6.6, coach and team.

Ewers was carving us up to the point that they would have easily beat us last year before he went out.

It is strange, the Texas/Alabama game last year was not just the best Ewers has looked going deep. That is the only time he seemed dialed-in throwing accurate deep passes. Every other game, including Saturday against Rice, his timing was way off. I'm starting to realize this won't get fixed. I think this is peak Ewers. I don't think teams will respect us going deep, which is a shame, because we have some great receivers for it.

Our D-line & DBs are really good. We have one very good LB. I like the Texas D against any team that does not have a quality running QB. I'm worried about Milroe on unplanned runs.

Our interior o-line is, again, a mess. This may be one of those games where we run for under 40 yards against Alabama. I'm not kidding. That is why Texas will likely lose this game.

Most of the Big 12 is an abortion this season. Texas will likely get to 9 wins, which is improvement, but only because our conference has dropped in difficulty. The same problems we had before Sark arrived are the same problems we have now.

I don't think about anything as much as you think about Texas.

Yep. Ewers will probably look stellar against us (he was looking pretty good before he got injured last year).
he was throwing against a golding coached defense, which means nobody knew what the play call was or who they were supposed to cover until a microsecond before the snap, if then. Now he has to go against the Steele Curtain

You clearly think about me, quite a lot

And this thread is about Alabama, and their upcoming out of conference game

We actually covered a lot of his big throws to Worthy extremely well last year (most were K. Jackson), he just dropped them in the absolutely bucket.

I know he hasn't done that consistently, but he has the ability to. If he throws the ball like that then they'll score some points because those throws with his weapons are unguardable. If he is erratic then we may have a chance to make some plays.

How much did the Texas Tech lol surprise you? And what did you think of the Kansas State and Kansas?

And for the record, based on your post, I have more confidence in your team than you do lol, I don’t think it’s hot garbage, I just think somethings off, it’s not clicking when it needs to

Instead of obsessing over me, why don’t you share your thoughts on your upcoming out of conference Alabama match up?

Not nervous at all. The UT OL will once again not be able to generate a running game and The King of CFB is better on the back end of the D this year. Caleb Downs finna eat.

Comparing UTrans to App state….. that’s probably pretty applicable

As it pertains to kicking TAMU's bitch asses around a football field, it's definitely applicable.
