So if LSU had won the NC in softball last night, there would not have been lots of LSU fans watching on TV and posting in an in game thread on TigerR?

If not, then why? LSU fans too snobby to take an interest in or cheer on their own softball players?

The only softball I'm interested in is if Jenny Finch is on tv.

if LSUs baseball team had sucked, our fans wouldn't turn their back on them, like 95% of bama fans did to thier baseball team this year. Your own rivals page completely dropped any and all coverage of the baseball team after covering them pretty well the last couple years.

Meh. She's hot at softball players go but otherwise she's nothing special IMO. I call it the the Dana Patrick effect.

So our baseball fans did what your basketball fans did?

I don't know about you, but I don't remember seeing nearly as much LSU basketball coverage of discussion in the years before or since the '08-'09. Why do you suppose that is? But keep believing that LSU fans are more devoted than everyone else.

So you make a thread that isnt a flame itself, but whose entire purpose is to incite flaming from others...

I believe this is called stirring the pot in some cultures.

Do they know J-Train is from Naples ? If you remind them she is from Florida maybe it will makes the grapes a little more rancid.

Does anyone else find the hilarity and hypocrisy to be mind boggling in thread?

I love how LSU fans act as though they wouldn't be excited if they watched their softball team win a championship on national television last night. LSU basketball is a prime example..when they're winning y'all thump your chest but recently it's been who cares about basketball anyway.

Any true fan of a school will be excited and willingly support a team that's competing for a title. It's not like any of us follow softball recruiting or could rattle off jackie traina's ERA from the top of our head, but you're damn straight we will pull for them if they are competing

If you're talking about the rant, then you're not following very well.

Basketball is a little different from softball though. Bball is the 2nd most popular sport in the country.

I fully admit that LSU fans don't care about losing teams (like every school), but we also don't care as much about our softball team when they're winning. I'm not judging or anything, but I just find it odd that grown men care about college softball so much (even during the regular season).

<------- Outlier.

Been following softball a good bit the last 5 years or so, and I've been to more basketball games than football games.

we still had game threds on basketball and people whined, bitched, and complained. And LSU news sites that are ran by fans, ie rivals and TSD still covered the team not matter how bad they did. Your's cant say the same.

Behind football and march madness, softball is the most exciting college sport to watch in my opinion...and alabama fans pack the house for every home game, it's not like this is some new phenomena that alabama fans follow their softball team.

Just because we don't start threads on the rant about regular season games doesn't mean we didn't care a few weeks ago like many are implying
