If we would have ran the OPTION on the goal line, we would have won in regulation. But miles played conservative while saban did not

After the first quarter, there was literally a 1 yard difference between the two teams through regulation.

Hell, LSU won the 2nd quarter through Overtime 201-185 if you want to get technical.

Bama "outplayed LSU" on 2 drives in the first quarter that got them all the way to LSU's 27 twice and no further.

I think LSU got Bama's best shot 11/5/11. Looking forward to the BCSCG.

Not going to read this whole topic, but Ohio State fans think the same, that LSU got dominated by Bama.

Actually no one has said this:

We dominated in every way

Within the same thread no less

As it is, I think LSU got Bama's best shot and still won the contest

I don't agree. There were many drives around the LSU 30 that stalled out due to stupid penalties. Bama had 12 plays from scrimmage 10 yards or over. LSU only 5.

The decision to get greedy on the long FGs flipped the field and Wing saved LSU's arse when he hit the 73 yarder.

I don't think Saban gets as greedy the next time.

I love how penalties only hurt Bama, not LSU... Gumptards!

Alabama had one penalty from the LSU 23 yard line in the first quarter, and then the penalty in OT.

Ofcourse we won't mention that before the first quarter drive stalled it was also helped by a 15 yard penalty on the LSU defense.

This is typical from arty, nothing to see here. Did he try to use the 12 second time of possession advantage in this thread also?

I've heard a few people claim that Alabama dominated LSU on Nov. 5th and that Alabama crushed LSU statistically. I've also heard the somewhat softer-toned "Alabama outplayed LSU and was/is the better team." Where do people come up with this stuff?

My vote is they pulled that stuff from a dark, malodorous orifice in their hind quarters. I didn't see any domination of either side during that game.
