Y'all do realize Avery is gone after this year?
He's using Bama as a one year gig to boost his value

We should make a chart of LSU fans' predictions in relation to their accuracy.

We can always count on you to answer any question about Bama. You are the walking, breathing example of obsessed

Bama has played two decent teams
I really don't know why an Auburn fan would care, but Bama beat Notre Dame and Wichita State in the same week and beat Clemson this week. I would say that those are decent teams.
I am not ready to jump on the NCAA bound bandwagon yet, but I do see a lot more excitement with this team.

Seems like I've heard this about another Bama coach.
Avery & Nick to Indy. Pacers & Colts about to wreck shait!
Yeah, that's the ticket!

Bama football is a destination top of the line job
Basketball is a stepping stone job. He's an NBA guy. I like the guy, just saying it's my opinion

Well, your opinion is shite. Why would his son transfer if he was only going to stay one or two years? He even has to sit out this year.

So it is your opinion that he'd come to Alabama, let his son transfer in from aTm (meaning he has to sit a year), and then leave for an NBA job before he ever coached his son in a single game?
That would pretty much make him a dirtbag of the highest order and yet you say you like the guy? Why would you like someone that would screw over his own kid like that?
If he has good success at Alabama, he may well leave for the NBA or a higher profile college job one day but the notion that he will do so after one season is delusion at its finest.

Probably more offensive boards against Clemson than the entire season last year. Too bad you lost your point guard for the year, though. Tough, gritty team. "Abassapound" is a hell of a player, that's for sure. You lose him, and you're toast. Avery has proved already he's the real deal and the right fit. He'll do well when he gets his recruits in there. And, he's going to get even more good ones. SEC seems to be up a little overall this season, so don't know how they'll fair, but they've already gotten those two top 25 back to back wins, plus this nice road win. Grant would have blown all of those for sure.

Before the season : "Avery sucks and Bama is stupid for hiring a coach without college experience.
8 games into the season:
That's a quick narrative change. It must suck for Bama to be doing better than LSU in all of the revenue generating sports.

Last night was an exciting game.
I am hoping maybe the SEC will be more than just the Kentucky show this year.

I think it'll take a couple years until you see multiple NCAA tournament caliber teams. But there's no doubt SEC schools are seriously investing into their basketball programs like never before.

I was a hater on the Avery hire as I thought it would be a bad fit. Looks like he is doing well.

And last night was huge for an exciting way to win away. That last minute steal to take the lead...
I would love to see Alabama and Auburn play in basketball for something more than just state bragging rights i.e. actually mean something towards getting into the tournament. I know the SEC is not there yet, but I agree with you that they are investing in basketball and that will pay dividends over time.

Will do well to make the NIT this year but without a doubt it's on the upswing. I haven't seen passing, flow to the offense and less mistakes from a team since Wimp was coaching. We arent there yeat but Clemson and ND are not slouches and those are big wins. AG was so detached from the program it wasn't funny. I don't kow why he just didn't resign after season one.

I'm genuinely confused why there is so much excitement for beating a below average Clemson team by one point.

Currently sitting 29th in RPI in a season where we were picked to finish either last or 2nd to last in the SEC.
