Bama isn't going anywhere in baseball until Gaspard is fired. Even with a new stadium.

I was referring to Auburn

Alabama is winning games they would not have won in recent years. The team is enjoyable to watch for once. It is not gonna make me any less excited about the team's future by you shitting on them. I've not said one cross word about auburn and Pearl and the promising future y'all are excited about.

Haha I'm not shitting on them. What Avery has done is freaking impressive. If you think me saying they aren't talented is shitting on them then you need to watch them play or listen to your fellow fans who have repeatedly stated that they are ready for Avery's guys to get on campus.

Would be the first time in collegiate athletics history that a university wins both the football and men's basketball championships with both head coaches under 5'-5" tall......

As a spurs fan, I love Avery. He was a D-II level athlete who carved out a role in the NBA using grit and guile and then after his playing days were through, coached an NBA team to 67 wins. His hard arse style ultimately didn't work in the nba, but it should be a great fit for the much younger athletes of the college game.
And honestly, that pisses me off. With his connections and coaching ability, he's going to turn Alabama into a power, and he would have rolled his dick in broken glass to be the HC at A&M. So in a couple years when Kennedy doesn't have a miracle top 5 recruiting class and has reverted to the mean, we're going to suck and Alabama is going to be kicking arse. And dammit that could have been us. Should have been us!! I mean our coach was doing awful and his kid was on the A&M basketball team die Christ's sake.

This year?
Won't make the tourney and won't sniff being ranked. Bama has played two decent teams (one is ranked) and lost by about 20 and 30 points.
Recruiting looks to be going well and next year, bama may be decent though.
You may be right about not making the tourney, but don't even act like you would not be excited if Auburn had wins over ranked Notre Dame and Wichita State teams, plus a road win over Clemson.

AU better hope JJ doesn't piss Bruce off enough for him to leave.

Haven't you heard? JJ getting fired this week... right after we hire Charles Kelly as our DC

With Ferguson coming in, Nick King becoming eligible, Ingram back from injury, and Braxton Key (national top 60 guy) and Armond Davis (Avery said he had him as the #1 Juco player in the country) coming in, next year promises to be fun! I'm thrilled with what I've seen on the court this year. We likely won't make the tournament, but we look a million times better coached. Like several of you have said, we simply don't have much talent and no depth right now. Not to mention any real scoring options.

Our issue is we only have three guys doing all of our scoring and one of them is a turnover machine that thinks he's Lebron. If Purifoy were to get cleared it would be a huge addition. We just have a bunch of new guys who haven't played together long. I'm excited about what we have coming in the future with Heron and Wiley the year after.

Y'all do realize Avery is gone after this year?
He's using Bama as a one year gig to boost his value
