If Grant was still here the record would be 2-4.

Alabama wins the national title in football again, AJ wins the Super Bowl for the Bengals, Avery wins the first national title for Alabama in basketball.

I like your sense of optimism. It's impressively large. :-)

The team plays with a confidence that they can win that, for whatever the reason, Grant's teams never seemed to exhibit. Definitely playing much better than I thought possible in Avery's first year.

Good win, but didn't someone beat Bama by 40 this year?

Xavier by 20 in the first game. You are right though, we should just shut the program down.

It's called development. Improvement. The opposite of what we are seeing with AU athletics.

Xavier and Davidson both railed them earlier but Bama seems to be improving. Their defense is going to keep them in a lot of games. Just depends on if they can generate points. They won by scoring 51 points tonight. That's pretty impressive.

Should I start getting excited about BBall? What should our realistic expectations be this season at this point? Making the NCAA tournament? Being Ranked? Never really been a basketball follower.

This year?

Won't make the tourney and won't sniff being ranked. Bama has played two decent teams (one is ranked) and lost by about 20 and 30 points.

Recruiting looks to be going well and next year, bama may be decent though.
