Talking shite about you =/= caring about you. They like to make fun of you and your attempts to be like them, which is no different than how people here make fun of you for your male cheerleaders, your pseudo-military bullshite, and your lackluster football program.
Oh em gee! Texas makes a banner before they play you! Who cares? This shite happens before every game that other SEC schools play. Go through Fayetteville or Tuscaloosa or Gainesville before a game and you'll see the Greek houses hanging banners, students wearing custom shirts pertinent to that particular game, and pep rallies oriented towards the opposing team. This is the SEC, chillun. This shite is standard.

This is a quite good offseason topic that has been beaten to death. Noone else likes it, we do, and it aint going to change.
It really doesn't matter what's written up or said or how many times, I guarantee you (bookmark it) it will never change.

It's the best I could do but nowhere near the best.

Missouri and Kansas are somewhat different as you don't compete for the same pile of in-state recruits, money, students...

And I said this when? Neither school is hard to get into, and I find it hilarious when you Aggies try to use that as ammunition. Please, spare me the mundane education chest-beating that you always resort to. The first 300 times were plenty for me, thanks.

Na, it's from observation. I couldn't care less about either school or their football program, but from being constantly surrounded by Aggie and Texas graduates it becomes quite obvious.

He is smart enough to do graduate work at A&M, but too prideful to admit College Station is better than Bumfrick, Arkansas.
Good things in College Station:
1. La Bodega
2. Lane's
3. GHWB Library for fireworks on July 4th.
4. The Woodland's pool in the summer (may have changed since the last time I was there, there were A LOT of apartment complexes being built).
Don't get Mr. Way Too Proud of Texas Guy on me. CStat isn't exactly a bastion of culture either.

Here is a recent example of Texas fans not caring about A&M:

That's the complex being built next to the Woodlands, correct? That's sick if they finished it, saves the hassle of driving down to the Guadalupe and float and drink. I remove my #4 and place that at #3. Now all you guys need to do is have your Greek houses closer to campus or actually have big parties on the sorority house block. Formals at the golf course are acceptable.

My personal experience (especially in recent months) has been that A&M fans rarely bring up Texas unless they are brought into the conversation in the first place. On the flip side, I am constantly being approached by Texas fans wanting to talk about how they don't give a damn about us.
All you have to do is compare ShaggyBevo and Orangebloods to TexAgs ...
There are several threads with A&M in the title on the Texas fans sites (and ShaggyBevo even titles their recruiting forum 'RC Didn't Offer') where as there is nothing on the front page of the TexAgs Football board referencing Texas.

Why? When I was there in 2006 Greek was not popular at all, I know it has changed some but there is still not a huge Greek culture at A&M.

You bring that shite up then try and bash him for "bringing it up?"
There's no point in talking smack with special eds. Come up with something logical and interesting and then we can talk.

TIL that vandalizing a sign equals an entire fan base caring about something. Great Aggie logic.
I can google search and find an arbitrary image as well!
This is from a restaurant in College Station
Man, that accomplished a lot, huh?

Arky wants respect so bad. Who knew they'd beg for acceptance from the new members of the SEC? lol
Posted on 10/24/12 at 9:48 am to BigAggie06
From my experience it's still not, but more popular for girls than guys. SEC and Greek life are tautologous, which is part of the reason why A&M is more of an outlier to the SEC culturally than Arkansas is.

Learn to read. I didn't bring anything up. I simply responded to an Aggie talking about how smart you have to be to do graduate work at A&M, which was obviously him trying to set things up so that he can beat his chest about how A&M is the greatest educational institution in the universe. This exact conversation happens at least 10 times a day on this forum. I know you are new here so I'll just pretend like you haven't noticed this blatantly obvious trend yet.
Btw, calling me a special ed is SUPER original and really clever, and it really hurts my feelings.
